Although we didn't manage to develop into angels and archangels because there was a large shortage of ore, but there were hundreds of paladins, not to mention thousands of militia and crossbowmen. We practically didn't have to fight neutrals; I let them all go in peace. As a result, Zephyr approached the final battle at level 24, Godric at level 22, and Faydaen at level 20. I already felt that playing as Zephyr was like using cheats; he defeated absolutely all his enemies without much effort. But, to cut a long story short, to defeat Markel with Zephyr, I had to work very hard, I reloaded about 3 times, and each time I fought for about 30-40 minutes; the computer was so overwhelmed that it froze, taking about 10 seconds to process each action, which hadn't happened before this battle. And all because Markel had his Attack and Defense skills well-developed, while Zephyr's were quite weak. And, for example, his 10 summoned skeletons could take down a couple of my paladins. By the way, I divided the main army into approximately three equal parts among the heroes; Faydaen, as expected, got more archers, Godric got more knights and paladins. In general, Zephyr used spells like Summon Elementals (for some reason, only water elementals were available), Summon Phoenix (this was when there were no Death Knights nearby, because they could take down this bird with 1200 hit points with a single touch), and he also actively used Resurrection and sometimes Holy Word to remove summoned undead from the battlefield, which was a bit overwhelming. After that, Godric fought, and I didn't even have time to blink before my troops defeated all the undead; the battle lasted about 1 minute. And Faydaen managed to capture the castle in about 5 minutes without much difficulty. By the way, it was only in the last campaign that I started using such a useful feature during battle as "wait" (the W key); before that, I didn't know about this possibility; maybe someone else doesn't know either.

In 3.0, the Exile skill was nerfed so much that it's not worth investing in. But in other versions, Zephyr uses Exile to destroy most of the enemies in the final battle.
