I confirm. I was unlucky with Leto; I probably shouldn't have chosen him against Anwen. And I didn't attack Ravenna correctly – the ghosts decided the outcome in the end.

Well, my opponent's deck was much better than last time. Almost a copy of mine. In the first battle, I got lucky with the spells. Paladins were among them. And the firebolt spell worked twice due to luck. In the second, everything went as usual. In the third, the person simply didn't know the counter-heroes well (Ibba would have been a good choice for this purpose). And in the fourth, I saved Marbas for dessert.

Thanks for the games :) Don't be upset. You play well. You just need to learn a few more matchups. It's a matter of a few hours.

Basically, we played without churches (as agreed, since we're both newbies), and only on one arena. We also mirror-tested Ossir at the same time. :smile19:

The second battle turned out great (attached). I think Iris has at least 90% win rate against Ossir; watch the replay, and you'll see griffons making mistakes and a stack of eagles being wiped out at once, but Iris still comes out on top.
I ask the experts to try and convince me and defeat my Iris with Ossir (this is a challenge :).)

In the Ossir-Anven battle, the terrain is decisive. If Ossir is positioned behind a hill, he has the advantage. If not, Anven will win in the end. I just got lucky this time, nothing more.

With Vittorio, the initial positioning according to ATB probably decides the outcome, but I'm not sure; I don't know him well enough. :smile32:

We played with 10 heroes each. We both made mistakes. In the first game, I managed to choose Nimus against Vittorio, and I was mercilessly defeated in a single gate.

When Shak defeated my Ibba (someone said I don't know how to play Orcs? ;) ), I was very upset (like in that advertisement - my friends, I am upset :D ). And the main thing is that I had previously defeated both Shak and Vittorio with these heroes. Hmm...

Well, then it became more fun, with a minimal lead, but I came back.
Yulcha, thank you for the game!!! I don't know about you, but I enjoyed the duels between Shak and Ibba, and Sinith and Axel :smile13:

The score should be 4-2 in my opponent's favor, but the Sinithar-Shak match was replayed due to a disconnect. Shak had the advantage there, although the duel had just begun. In the replay, Sinithar got to move first and managed to cast an enhanced Mass Slow on 3 of the opponent's main units (cyclops, wyverns, paoka) that were standing next to each other. Yulcha, I'm willing to concede that match. :smile15:

Nimus defeated my Ibba; I messed up there. I used dragons, and the opponent got morale boosts and successfully attacked without stopping; I just lost:smile48:

In the first match, everything is clear; a perfectly chosen counter-hero, which I had forgotten about when choosing my hero, and the fortune that turned away from Axel himself determined the outcome of the game.

The second match, again, no comment; a counter-hero, and it's a counter-hero even in Africa.

Shak against Helmar: here I felt like a fish in water, because I had successfully played the same match against Vovan earlier that day; he is a very good player on the Ubi server.

Sinithar against Vitka: everything went well; the opponent made a mistake by placing two stacks of archers next to each other, and the red side managed to set the crossbowmen on fire with fiery breath.

Ravenna against Deydra: used berserk on the vampires, then a mass punishing strike and speed, then subjugation again on the vampires. He only made a mistake at the end when he placed a stack of dragons next to his vampires, but this didn't significantly affect the outcome of the battle.

In the last one, everything is clear, Ora always won in this matchup.
