1. Tournament organizers: КостяN and Kash
The young and inexperienced organizers are assisted by:
SEM_56 (judging, assistance in resolving unusual situations),
Revan (formatting).

2. Tournament dates - from June 8 to August 9, 2009. Exactly 1 week per round. Registration for the tournament is closed

3. Regulations. The tournament is held on game version SoD 3.2(4.0), by mutual agreement TE 1.03q or TE Lite, random, template 2SM4d(3)

4. Tournament status - currently fan-made.
Based on the tournament results, the winner will be awarded the medal "Winner of the Tournament 'Новичок-2009'".
Additionally, the winner(s) will have the opportunity to play against a strong HW player

5. Rules. The tournament is conducted according to seasonal rules. Only one point is added to the rules:

Before registering for any tournament on HeroesWorld, you must understand that you become a part of it and its conduct depends on you as one of the players. To create an overall positive impression of the tournament, it is necessary to follow its rules and show respect to the organizers and participants .........
I.e., if any reason arises that prevents matches from being held within the deadlines, or affects the entire tournament - let me know via ICQ or PM; you do not need to specify the reason.

Instead of the ellipses, a penalty for violating tournament deadlines was envisioned, up to disqualification. I am not introducing any penalties, as this contradicts my moral principles. I strongly request that deadlines be observed nonetheless, and that organizers be notified of unforeseen timing conflicts in a timely manner. Remember - our "children's" tournament is being watched by the organizers of the "adult" ones. During the tournament, the rules, structure, and regulations will not change

6. Group stage

Four groups, in which everyone plays everyone else, meaning 6 games. The group stage lasts 6 weeks, i.e., from June 8 to July 19, 2009. Reports and confirmations are written in this thread; based on the results of the group stage, they will be copied by me into the thread "Reports and confirmations of online games. Season 'Summer-2009'"
Attention: for all games not played within the deadline, technical results will be posted on July 19, 2009. The sooner the first stage ends, the sooner the second begins

7. First-pick rule. Each participant is assigned a number. If an even and odd number play, the one with the higher number picks first. If two evens or two odds play, the one with the lower number picks first

Light font - played games and games involving A.S. and riorraw (their opponents are awarded technical victories)
Red color - games for which 2 additional days have been added to complete them
Bold black - unplayed games, for which both players received zeros

9. Playoffs
Two players from each group who scored the most points advance to the playoffs. In case of a tie, head-to-head results will be considered. If that doesn't help - we will hold additional games
The second stage is conducted as a single-elimination tournament.
Playoffs will begin immediately upon completion of the first stage

10. Disputed points, if any arise, please discuss them outside the forum whenever possible, i.e., contact the organizers first.
Disputed situations (rule violations, disconnects, suspicions of unfair play) are handled by the Academy of Martial Arts consisting of:

In separate cases, competent and authoritative online players may be brought in. To resolve disputed situations, players provide daily saves and texts of negotiations before the game; if these are absent - the same-day decision is made based on seasonal rules.
