Posts from Heroes of Might & Magic III: Horn of the Abyss
all of this is a cruel deception
If I were you, I would choose my words more carefully; first of all, you need to respect the creators. They are all people, and like ordinary people, they have their own problems and shortcomings. Moreover, they don't owe anyone anything. ;)
Why don't you draw the models and write the scripts yourself?
In your place, I would choose my words carefully; first of all, you need to respect the creators. They are all people, and like ordinary people, they have their own problems and shortcomings. Moreover, they don't owe anyone anything.
Maybe, but why promise something if you can't deliver? They could just say what percentage of the work is done!
I think the guys are waiting for people to get tired of King's Bounty.
I haven't read all the messages in this thread.
Let me offer some constructive criticism.
This is great, and it deserves deep respect, even considering that it's a commercial project.
The artwork is superb. It's all done in the best traditions.
It would be great if the Northerners had immortal highlanders (like Duncan MacLeod) – with a lot of health, regeneration, and resurrection like the Phoenixes.
If you could also integrate settings for the parameters and special abilities of all units into the Heroes of Might and Magic game settings, that would be simply amazing. I like to change the parameters of units in the script generator, but it's not very convenient. You have to attach a file to the map – it's a hassle. But that might be outside the scope of this project.
And alternative units in the cities are just super. I've been dreaming about that for a long time. They did it in Heroes 4, but I don't like playing that game.
If you could also create alternative upgrades that don't just add attack speed and defense to most units.
I would also really like it if this were a full-fledged program, with all the editors being native and without any glitches.
In Heroes 3, the most useless spells are those of the 3rd level. I would really like to change and expand the spells of this level.
I'm eagerly awaiting the full release, just like many other Heroes fans.
Actually, the "guys" are working on an expansion, and they are trying to do it properly, not just slapdash.
