Life is not the only form of existence. Life without death is meaningless. But death without life cannot exist either. Only in the unity of life and death can a world exist. Destroy death, and you will lose life. It is better to be undead than to be immortal.

The undead are the enemy of humans, but not of life. The undead do not seek to destroy life, for then the undead would lose its meaning. Humans strive for dominance over life and death, over all of nature. Pride is the defining characteristic of humans. The undead are not subject to these feelings.

That’s exactly the point: undead are the enemy of humans, and I’m a human, which means I’m the enemy of the undead!

Firstly, the expression is quite old... and the creators of "The Mummy" have as much to do with it as Mark does.
Secondly, philosophy is such a thing (:) ) where wise thoughts of the ancients are only welcome (IMHO).

And in general, "Everything that is said well is mine... it doesn't matter who said it before me" :) :D :)

Philosophies-
Castle-we do not root out evil, we simply destroy that which threatens us!

Necropolis-yes, we are soulless, but we have met death... death is within each of us, one must simply release it... war consists of two things: life and death, and nothing more...
Stronghold-Our strength is in our hands, our future is in our hands, our victory is in our hands! In our hands....
Swamp-you never know where the quicksand is? so are we: insidious and strong as a mire where no one will help you....
Dungeon-our essence is to enslave and rule!
Conflux-huge power is hidden within the elements—other creatures are too stupid to understand this!

The philosophy of elementals.
We created this world. We are part of this world. But then humans came and enslaved us. Let them think that they can control the elements, but in reality, that is not the case. We sleep until the earth is safe. But when it is threatened with destruction, we awaken and eliminate the threat!

I completely agree, it's a great proverb, and the moral of all the heroes is: fortior, altius, citius (faster, higher, stronger).

I think that "veni, vidi, vici" suits the heroes better (I think everyone knows what it means).

Anti-advertising philosophy for the undead: Yes, you are unaware of treachery. A skeleton will never betray a skeleton. You don't deceive, steal, or betray... you are devoid of any feelings. You don't love, rejoice, grieve, or sympathize... Why do you even exist? Philosophy of elves (not necessarily Sylvan): take a little from nature and give back just as much. P.S. Vampires, by the way, quite regularly engage in intrigues and conspiracies in their struggle for power among themselves (not all of them, of course). P.P.S. My personal philosophy in Heroes 5: I hate Demons, I despise Necromancers, and I sympathize with Dark Elves.
