I haven't watched many music videos, I just wrote down what I remembered from the coolest ones quickly.

Of the videos I've watched recently, I really liked Metallica's video for the great song All Nightmare Long. The song itself is quite long, and the video's plot tells about some kind of science fiction viruses found at the site of the Tunguska meteorite fall. The title near the beginning of the song is amusing: TUNGUSKA VOLCANO AND THE RESURRECTION OF ORGANISMS. USSR :) In general, as always, they made fun of the great and mighty.

Metallica - The Unforgiven. It's nicely filmed; I suspect that the lyrics contain some deep meaning, which is even more revealed in the video, but I haven't had time to read and translate it yet. The song itself, of course, doesn't need any introduction.

Another video - Whiskey in the Jar. About how not to drink, and in general... :) It's also Metallica.

Apocalyptica - I'm Not Jesus. I've stopped rewatching it several times, but I still think the video is wonderful, as is the song itself.

Children of Bodom - Are You Dead Yet.

Bruce Dickinson - All The Young Dudes. Simple and tasteful. :)

Okay, I'll stop here for now, although there are probably other things I could write about. Maybe I'll find my favorites on YouTube and link them here if I feel like it

To increase the popularity of this thread, I suggest posting no more than one clip here, no more than once a week. This limitation is to prevent it from being overwhelmed with tons of clips in a short period of time, and it's quite feasible to watch a few videos a week, unlike situations where a great many of them can accumulate :O. It makes the most sense to link to YouTube, but the quality there is often poor. Therefore, if there are good alternatives, it's better to link to them.

So, Iron Maiden - Holy Smoke. I've already written about it in this thread :) It's fun and positive; the video itself is, in a sense, a parody of the entire metal industry and also of the commercial religious programs that were being aired on TV in the USA at the time.
It's best to watch it in HD, as the quality isn't very good :[br][/br]

Kalinov Most - Kamchatka

They were one of the pioneers of Russian folk-rock, and they are still one of the most important and well-known bands in the genre. I saw the music video for the first time a long time ago, in 2004, and I immediately loved it, not just because it was about my hometown, but also because of the special, genuine feelings it evoked. Now I can name almost every location where the video was filmed...

A fun, positive, and mischievous song, and a music video in the same style, filmed back in 2003. It's great for lifting your spirits :)

It's a shame that the quality is poor. I haven't found a better version yet (not even on Pirate Bay! *wall* )

This is an unofficial clip, but it's made neatly and beautifully. The video features clips from the Flying Heavy Metal program with Bruce Dickinson, which was shown on the Discovery channel. The background music is a song by Bruce Dickinson called "Navigate the Seas of the Sun" from one of his solo albums. The song is quiet and calm, and the melody is pleasing to the ear, just like his vocals. Well, of course, it's Bruce ;) Overall, I recommend it to everyone who doesn't mind spending five minutes.
