Ice777 from GUgolka has released the final version of his mod for low-end PCs. Now, when shaders are disabled (gfx_nopixelshaders = 1), all textures will be visible.
Here is the list of changes:
Academy: - Textures are no longer "grey". Lighting is like a cloudy day.

Elf City: - The city is in twilight with colored lighting. - Water is transparent, textures are no longer black. (screenshot here http://slil.ru/22962686)
Global Map: - There is water! - Slightly adjusted the swamp. - Fixed a bug with cacti and crooked trees (now they grow from the ground instead of hanging in the air over holes).
You just need to change the last modified date. That is, you need to make sure that the *.pak file was modified after the patch was released, as the game reads information from the files with the latest modification date. Since the patch was released on July 20th, all *.pak files with a modification date before July 20th will not be read by the game.
