annual tournament named after John Van Caneghem.
It is held in stages for all parts of the Heroes of Might and Magic series. The 4th and 9th stages are dedicated to the 4th part of the game. :) Each stage is independent.

VK is an abbreviation for the annual tournament held on HeroesWorld. The Van Kanegem Tournament consists of 10 stages, each lasting approximately a month and dedicated to one of the Heroes of Might and Magic series. Stage 1 - HoMM 1, Stage 2 - HoMM 2... and so on. Starting with stage 6, the series repeats, meaning stage 6 is dedicated to HoMM 1, and accordingly, the rest of the stages follow the list, with stage 10 being HoMM V.

In theory: you see the tournament topic, submit an application: "hello. I want to participate in your tournament, please register me." Then you download the map and the save file. And you try to complete the tournament condition as efficiently as possible - for example, defeat all enemies in the minimum number of days. You have to play from the save file. That's it. In general, you complete the map, make save files, and send the final save file (from the day the task is completed) to the tournament organizer. In practice: there are no tournaments.

Choose the "HW Tournaments" section, then select whether you want to participate in online or offline tournaments, and which version of Heroes you want to play. After that, choose the desired topic and register for the tournament.

I have an idea to create an offline tournament for Homm4 :smile13: on some long-loved L or XL map that was in the original Heroes 4, with scoring. Please respond here if you would like to participate in the tournament, or maybe help with its organization.
