Within Temptation

A Dutch Gothic/Symphonic metal band. I like it :). It's good for relaxing. The vocalist (Sharon Janny den Adel) has a pleasant voice :), and the music is beautiful . For me, it's also an alternative to Lacuna Coil .

Albums
1997 — Enter
2001 — Mother Earth
2004 — The Silent Force
2007 — The Heart of Everything

Someone seems to be obsessed with female vocalists :D

What can I say :D, there are only 2 bands with female vocals that I like, everything else I've listened to is just depressing.

Great band, I love them with all my heart... And the vocalist is like a second Tarja!)))

Well, Tarja sings a little differently :)
Here, I already made a mistake, not two but three groups. I forgot about the Knights.

Yeah, both have great voices... ) Within Temptation's music videos are better than Knight's.

Too bad I didn't see it.

and, there aren't many albums... At the very least, Stand My Ground should be included.

Added 5 minutes later
And also Ice Queen, Running Up The Hill, there's also Memories... But that one is from a concert already).

Well, I don't know...) You could say Sharon has a sweet voice :) But the group doesn't really have that many good songs - and besides, they're churning out tons of new compilations with old songs =/ It would be really cool if they released a new album))

But at least they have such gems as Ice Queen, See Who I'm, Stand My Ground <3, and of course, the impressive Forsaken, which is just a kiss of doom).

But, to be honest, the group doesn't have that many really good songs.

I like to listen to bands by exploring their entire discography:smile43:. With Within Temptation, I haven't found a single song that I didn't like:p.
By the way, I discovered them while looking for a band similar to Lacuna Coil.

Hey everyone, I saw a music video by this band, and I really liked it, but I forgot the name of the song. I want to download it. If anyone knows, please let me know. In the video, there were two different worlds: one dark and one bright. There was a butterfly that landed on her hand and then disappeared, something like that. Please tell me the name of the song.

Maybe Mother Earth? There's something similar to two worlds there as well =\ Although I don't remember any butterflies.

Added after 1 hour 10 minutes
I watched about ten clips, they seem good, but there's something wrong with all of them. There isn't a single one for Perfect((
Although that's not surprising, considering that I criticize clips more strictly than songs :D
In general, I liked the clip for the song Stand My Ground the most.

someone is hooked on the vocalists

No-no-no :D nothing compares to my Italian beauty xD

No:(Not that one. Does anyone know another one?

The Howling is called... I can send it to you if you want.

The video is here
I once listened to Ice Queen on a friend's "Vkontakte" page, and it really caught my attention. Then I found the videos on Rutube.
What can I say? :) I definitely like this band :smile01:

Ice Queen

When leaves have fallen
And skies turned into grey.
The night keeps on closing in on the day
A nightingale sings his song of farewell
You better hide for her freezing hell

On cold wings she's coming
You better keep moving
For warmth, you'll be longing
Come on just feel it
Don't you see it?
You better believe it.

When she embraces
Your heart turns to stone
She comes at night when you are all alone
And when she whispers
Your blood shall run cold
You better hide before she finds you

Whenever she is raging
She takes all life away
Haven't you seen?
Haven't you seen?
The ruins of our world

She covers the earth with a breathtaking cloak
The sun awakes and melts it away
The world now opens its eyes and sees
The dawning of a new day

Whenever she is raging
She takes all life away
Haven't you seen?
Haven't you seen?
The ruins of our world
