I tried playing it. It's not quite a steering wheel, but it's also not a brake pedal. It would have been better named King's Bounty Mobile.
Overall, the controls are a bit glitchy in battles and when navigating the menu. Also, the recruitment process in the castles is a bit strange: you have to hold down the button for a long time to buy 25 units. But these are just my first impressions...

In my opinion, it's better not to install it on phones older than 2005 (it glitches a lot, and sometimes it doesn't even start - I have an X-100).

I read /topic/267/. I liked the idea with the hexagonal battlefield. It turns out to be a mix of King's Bounty and Heroes III. That’s cool…
In general, I think maybe I should upgrade my phone for this kind of game and play it, but then again, does anyone know about Java emulators?

Yes... I had that Java game on my phone: it was fun... it was well-made for that resolution, I played it for a week on the subway, but I quickly finished it... if there were new maps and I needed to go on some kind of trip, I would probably download three more games from this series to add to my chess and Battleship games :D ...

It's quite an engaging game. It would be even better if there was an option to save the progress...
Although, I guess it's designed that way so people play it for longer.

Oh, I played it a long time ago just for fun. I think you can save your progress in the game.
