In short, it's a disaster =)
As I understand it — XL templates are an indicator of my noobiness, or I just need to get used to them. Both of us were dead tired, played in two sessions, and eventually agreed on a battle, but in order.
On the first week in my home zone I built Minotaurs in the Citadel + a portal with Eyes, nearby there was a passage to a secondary zone behind Gogs... around day 6-7 I took the computer's Conflux and spotted an external dwelling of Psychics 5 arrows away from it — which decided the game. I quickly killed the computer so it wouldn't interfere — without losses — Pasiss was there. On the second week I built Psychics in the Castle, collected resources, saw the blue player behind the rocks — trying to find a passage... Gogs are standing... On the third week resources, resources, resources... On the fourth week Griffin Conservatory 4, then the computer's Dungeon, also artifacts revealed there for 2/2 attack defense and 2/2 knowledge power, why I didn't grab them immediately — no idea. Also a Griffin Conservatory-1 there, double build from week 4... Gogs are standing — I already basically understood what was what, but for some reason I thought you could get into the treasure zone, next to the home respawn, where there are trees, Pandora's Boxes, Boots, Peasants, in general a bunch of stuff... turned out not (well, maybe only through the metro). And when there are only 2 external dwellings — Eyes and Psychics + Conflux, so with a good setup +11 Psychics per week, you don't have to rush. Guerilla Aislin, camping in the external Marketplace since the start of week 2, gathered enough for GM4 — Meteor Shower and Resurrection — Earth magic for Shakti — good. On the second month I finally took the artifacts, replenished mana, bought everything I could — a ton still remained in the Conflux — and went to make contact through the Gogs, which we had agreed on in advance...
In the final battle, parameters were roughly equal, but the magic advantage was on Shakti's side, and basically Valya had no Offense or Defense... but with 13 Archangels and 17 Champions. When Shakti has both, plus 42 Psychics with 121 Evil Eyes and 21 Minotaurs... No chance was left.
Thanks for the game, patience, the massive amount of time and effort spent, and, of course, the experience...
P.S. It would have been better if we barely managed to set up TE and tried it there... maybe it would have turned out faster... or maybe I need straighter hands, I don't know.

I confirm... We ran around for a long time, and if we hadn't agreed on the final match, I think we could have set a record for the longest game duration. Even just to meet at the only possible location, each of us had to run from the central castle towards each other for a week!:eek: So, either we were unlucky with the map generation, or we're both noobs:p In the final match, nerves took over.

You need to set the size to L.
And you can't choose Necropolis or Conflux as starting castles.
