I have the same problem - no one can connect to me, and I can't connect either.
This issue has already been raised in this thread, but it remains unanswered...

All mods from the Usermods folder need to be removed, as well as any additionally downloaded maps, as they may contain mods.

I haven't installed any mods; I only use custom maps created by the map generator.

what are mods? I also get disconnected from the server.

The problem is that I can't access any game; it says there's a version mismatch. I understand that's the issue, but the real problem is different. I installed patch 3.1, but it still says I have version 3.0... I tried reinstalling, but it doesn't work.

I solved the problem... it was a faulty No CD. Another question: sometimes, when I try to join someone's game, it gives me a message saying I'm not registered in that game's data or something like that. What does this mean?

New problem: how do I set my status to "ready" in normal mode?

I can't view either my own profile or someone else's. When I click on a profile, it says that it failed to create the profile.

This issue with Ubi has been around for a long time... or rather, it was fixed at some point, but then it reappeared and seems to have been happening since winter.
Points are added, but it's impossible to view the statistics, neither your own nor those of other players.

I want to play Heroes with a friend online (either via Hamachi or Ubisoft, I'm not sure yet, as my friend hasn't installed the game yet). I have a few questions:
1. When we played Heroes on the same computer, we played for 16+ hours to determine the winner (obviously, with save games). Can you save the game online and then load it later?
2. I have Heroes 5, which is patched with 7 patches (1.01, 1.02, 1.03, 1.04, 1.041, 1.05, 1.06), and each of the 2 expansions has 1 patch installed (2.01 and 3.01) - are these the versions that everyone plays with?
3. Do I need to enter 1 key on Ubisoft? Or for Heroes 5 and the 2 expansions? And if it's the Gold Edition? I think there's only 1 key there...
4. Do connection drops occur, and how often?
5. What game modes are available in this game? (with a description if possible)

1. You can save online, and all game loading operations are the same.
2. People usually play with the latest patches - most often with Warlords and patch 3.01, for Lords of the North, patch 2.01 is required, and for the original game, patch 1.06.
3. Use the key that's on the paper with the disc, I had the SE version and two keys - one for the original game and one for Lords of the North.
4. They do happen. It varies, but it does occur.
5. Normal mode (playing on a map) and duel mode - two (or more) heroes with troops fight each other until one is completely defeated

"The game server interrupted the game" - I'm fed up with this...
If anyone had the same problem, please write how to solve it - I can't play, I can only play once with 99% of the players...

I can't watch the game as a spectator; the "join" button simply doesn't light up (I've checked the box next to the filled-in games).
