That’s what a ballista is for – to shock people. After the first time, I was so scared that I couldn’t turn on my computer for a week and couldn’t sleep at night.

When my ballista wiped out 4 Ghost Dragons and 9 Death Harbingers in one volley, I almost fell off my chair too (it was for Inferno and also hit with fire). In general, in HOMM5, siege weapons have become a powerful weapon!!!

The ballista is a formidable weapon... and sometimes quite mysterious... it can do some truly amazing things... especially when it's aimed at you :(:eek:)

Yes, the ballista is a great unit if you upgrade it! And if you play as Inferno, it basically turns into a small rocket launcher!

The question might seem silly... I just started playing the fifth installment recently...
Dark Elves have an ability to determine an element (like water, fire, etc.)... and it's also possible to give your own creatures elements, so that if an opposing element attacks, the other element takes damage... does this apply to Ballistas?

The Ballista is certainly a useful unit. But it can be quite inconvenient at times. For example, in Heroes of Might and Magic III, it can attack a unit affected by the Blind spell, which will remove the spell – not ideal. However, in Heroes of Might and Magic V, I also like the Healing Tent. The Necropolis hero in my avatar has it very well developed! The ability to revive units on the battlefield is very helpful (which you won't see in Heroes of Might and Magic III).

I don't think it's necessary, but if it's going to be increased, it shouldn't be by much. Anyway, units in Heroes rarely played a very important role... But I had a case in Heroes 3 - when a ballista could take out two (!!!) archdevils with one shot.

Everything is clear with the ballista (or rather, nothing is clear), but could you tell me how a first aid tent can restore (revive) a unit? You can apply a bandage during first aid, but I don't know how it can revive. In our hospitals, resuscitation is powerless, but here there's some kind of magical first aid tent. I'm for it restoring health, like in Heroes of Might and Magic III, instead of reviving.
