Posts from Heroes of Might & Magic III: Horn of the Abyss
Once all 3 cities are released, what will you be working on? Will you be adding more cities? Like the ones on the website with new cities for Heroes 3?
Кто к нам с пером придёт, тот от пера и погибнет!:smile51:
Wouldn't it be possible to create at least one very, very expensive city where only the highest-level units from all castles, say level 7, would live? This wouldn't change the balance because all these units could still be recruited at the same price as in other castles, but they would all be gathered in one castle. Is this possible? And what about an artifact that would prevent these creatures from fighting each other and causing morale to drop? This artifact could be very, very expensive and rare. Could something like this be implemented?
My question to Docent Picolan and his team: Do you only implement your own new ideas, or also those that are posted in this thread? Do you ever check the "HW New Ideas" section – there are many interesting ideas there too?
P.S. I don't have a "team" in the traditional sense; we don't have a "leader" or "coordinator."
That's nonsense, why would anyone need this? Maybe you'll even make a castle with all level 1 units. It would be better if you came up with something real and worthwhile for the game.
Eh-eh-eh! Why immediately call it nonsense? Justify it, and then say it's nonsense!!! Otherwise, YOU are the one who's talking nonsense! If you play for a long time and spend a lot of money, but no one wins, then such a castle is exactly what gives an advantage to a more logical player with well-thought-out resources!!!
So, the idea is good!!! :smile09:
честь потеряешь - много потеряешь,
мужество потеряешь - все потеряешь.
Uh-huh! Why immediately call it nonsense? Justify it, and then say it's nonsense!!! Otherwise, YOU yourself are nonsense! If you play for a long time and have a lot of money, but no one wins, then such a castle is just an advantage for a more logical player with well-planned resources!!!
2) A "logical" player? So, is logic measured by the amount of resources and money?
3) Playing for a long time and having a lot of money... that's rare. And if you don't play for long and capture this castle? Is that it? The end?
Except the ones we've made
1) And how do you start with this Castle?
2) A "logical" player? Does that mean logic is measured by the amount of resources and money?
3) Playing for a long time and having a lot of money... that's rare. But if you don't play for long and capture this Castle, is that it? The end?
2 - The more logically you use resources, the more you have.
3 - Playing for a long time is a matter of preference; capturing it quickly doesn't mean you'll be able to buy everyone there! So, the balance is taken into account.
Sorry, I didn't clarify:
A Castle with only high-level creatures - you shouldn't START with it! This intermediate Castle is placed somewhere on the map between players or far from them - only the most experienced player will take it, and the game will develop accordingly.
That's what I wanted to say.
