The most effective strategy is to use Earth Shock, amplified by a hero by 1.5 times, and 50 Hydras. With this, your army will be invincible. As for Raiders, they are weak; they have too little health and don't survive long enough to use their abilities (the viper bite).

You forgot the boots for earth spells. They cost around 5000 in the artifact shop.

Well, I just didn't play with them that much because I didn't have enough time. So, 30-40 Hydras should be enough.

I usually take down all the strong neutral creatures with magic. I split them into seven stacks of 1 unit each, level 1, and they often don't even have time to approach – Lightning + Meteor = death to enemies!

This was done for balance; otherwise, it would be too easy.

You won't believe it, I have the same problem when I play Academy. Besides Rakshasa and Titans (which you probably won't even build), no one has any damage. But in Dungeon, Furies, Assassins, Raiders... almost everyone deals a lot of damage, and with Destruction magic and buffs, it turns out quite well. You just need to lose less at the beginning and level up correctly.

No, the Dungeon is a pretty strong Castle, especially if you build it up and upgrade the dragons.
