I liked the first option better; it feels like it has something new, while options 2 and 3 seem bland. The fourth one is also interesting, but it reminds me of the current design.

The third option is really awesome! It's the coolest! I hope it wins.

Yeah... it looks like the 3rd one is winning... (I voted for the first one, but this one is also very good). But I think that a pattern on the background would still be nice... it would be amazing :)

I visited their Heroes of Might and Magic website, and they have a pattern made of flowers there. So maybe you could put these swirls on the background or use them as a frame? It seems pretty good...

The 4th option is more balanced and presentable. However, the background needs to be changed; it's hard to read.

A newbie's opinion.
In my opinion, it's more reasonable to set #3 as the default. It's simple and beautifully designed, with nothing лишнего, just what a newbie needs. If they don't like it, they can choose a different skin. The white color isn't great, but it's not a deal-breaker.
#1 is beautiful, no doubt about it.
#4 has a great background, and I like the idea of bringing together different creatures, but they don't quite come together as a cohesive image. I wouldn't even have thought about the presence of a planet; let it be there.
I'll choose #2 for myself. There were some suggestions mentioned earlier, and I won't repeat them.

It's hard to decide which skin to choose... I'll consider all of this from the perspective of an ordinary user.

"First impressions matter" is a very appropriate phrase here... Most people on the internet have seen and encountered a wide variety of design styles, which implies that the most appealing styles are those that are not too dull, but also not too colorful or cartoonish... As they say, "simple and tasteful." But the word "simple" implies a brilliant, visually pleasing design without unnecessary embellishments.

Let's consider the skins in more detail:
Screenshot #2 - it's a fairly unobtrusive design, but it's too simple... it's rather pale, despite all the attempts to brighten it up with the navigation menu...
Screenshot #4 - it's brighter and more beautiful, but it doesn't quite grab your attention...
Screenshot #1 - it's very beautiful, very contrasting, and simply doesn't cause any complaints (I don't consider the emphasis on specific cities to be a reason to reject the skin)... It's just beautiful and brilliant, and only after scrolling to the bottom of the skin page did I notice a few extra details (buildings and ships) - either they just seem unnecessary, or something else, but they are a little distracting...
Screenshot #3 - the dullness is not the main reason to reject the skin. More annoying is the font... yes, I just hate this font - it visually offends me in some way, which spoils the impression... Replacing the font with something similar to the other screenshots would be helpful...

I liked #1 and #3 the most (I voted for #1); they are quite original, and everything is harmonious. However, the design of #2 and #4 is too similar to the game's menu.

the first option is banal. the second one... it's a pile of square houses on a gray background. not very good, you know. the fourth and third are not bad, but... in the third, there's an excess of white fog, and the eye doesn't feel comfortable. and in the fourth, the monsters at the top are terrible; it would be better to put artwork of the creatures there instead of their graphical representations in the game. following the method of deduction, I chose the third option, although I don't really like it.

In my opinion, options #1 and #2 are the most successful! :smile20:
The work is truly amazing!

Option 3. The first one is beautiful, but I think there are not only elves on the site, and as a vampire, I don't like this cover. The second one didn't appeal to me. The third one is perfect. The fourth one is okay, but it's not very good. Option 3 is definitely the best. This knight was already in the original. There's no getting away from him.

I am strongly against the second option! Personally, I like the first option with simplified navigation. If we took option 4 and the navigator from the first one, that would be great.

2. It's a bit too simple and generic: houses, houses, and houses. But this isn't SimCity; it's Heroes. A random player won't be impressed. 3. It's better, but still simple, and I've seen this guy somewhere before. Plus, I really don't like the font; it's hard to read, in my opinion, and it reminds me of the great and beloved Civilization from the late 80s. But the font wasn't as annoying there. 4. It's good, although it lacks something in the sky. A dragon would be great, or even better, a phoenix – it's not as overused as an angel. 5. This one is also good; it's dark, but not too much, and it's very calm and not overwhelming. Therefore, the choice is between 1 and 4, and 4 is better: it's more informative, and more announcements can be placed on it. Having to click unnecessarily to open an announcement is not a good thing, and new players won't like it. It's better to have more visible at once, even if it means scrolling down a bit, rather than going to another page. And, as many have noticed, it features all the races, which is a plus.

I like #1, and I voted for it. But I don't think any of them are suitable for beginners:p. The site should be for ALL Heroes games, not just one part, and that should be visible. The color scheme is gold, the most neutral, and the font is also visible... At the top, there's a coat of arms, and around it are emblems of all the Heroes games as small icons, from 1 to 5, from left to right. That's how it should be:)

Undoubtedly, option #3 is the best. It fits in all aspects. It is pleasant, gentle, and reflects the entire range of emotions of the heroes.

I voted for option 4. It turned out to be very beautiful. And option 1 seemed to me to be the least attractive.
