I actually like Biara and her bonuses to demons (once you max out the Hellfire skill, it's incredibly powerful).

Yeah, I liked gatekeeping too; at first, it's not great, but towards the end of the map... it's not bad...

Definitely, the Necromancer from the faction! I love his ability to recruit all kinds of undead creatures!

To be honest, I can't decide about the fifth one yet, but in the third one, Solmyr and the Chain Lightning spell are definitely the best.

He alone is worth an army of medium size))) It was nice to play as Markel - although I don't really like necromancers) But Ossir is still my favorite, as his archers are really awesome). And Faidaen (the main hero of the campaign for the elves) was a little disappointing - the Rain of Arrows is quite weak and its target is creatures of a lower level (in the enemy army, not in general).

I haven't finished the campaign yet... As for random heroes, there's a Dark Elf nicknamed Catalyst. For some reason, I feel a connection to him.

Well, that works against the AI... against a real player, the resurrection tactic is almost always ineffective...
