Which hero do you like?
However, non-combat classes have that drawback here: they fight "in the front lines," just like warriors. In BG and similar third-person games, for example, mages could be physically protected by warriors, or even removed from the battlefield if the opponent really disliked them and targeted them specifically. But here, everyone is equally "in the line of fire"... although this isn't fatal, in principle.
I've played this game three times, the main thing is to have:
1) Paladin / Cleric (healers)
2) Sorceress (teleports, combat magic)
3) Druid (versatile mage)
4) I also took various other heroes. Even a Knight :) although the Knight frankly becomes a burden later on, sometimes he still provides salvation (lots of HP)
The most difficult place in the game is in the Darkmoor castle, where there are a lot of flying eyes. In Might and Magic 6, they are much stronger than in Heroes 3 :)
2 Knights, a Cleric, and a Wizard. A good combination.
It's amazing, but I think I had the same combination.

I hate Darkmoor! Although it's easy to complete without fighting anyone, it's still annoying. I also hate having to deal with blasters; those damn drones not only destroy my armor but also kill me in one hit.
My favorite dungeons: Kriegspire, the Pyramid of VARN, Garik's Laboratory, the Supreme Temple of Baa (on the Isle of the Hermit), and, perhaps, the Temple of the Lord of Fire.

Мститель клана "Lost Heroes"
2 clerics + 2 mages...
Even though I haven't played it 30 times, I've definitely played it 5 times. The last 4 times were with exactly this team - you just need to know how to play...
Dark Jack well, I disagree...
. My squad is based on utilizing the full potential of the game.
. You can run around with staves until the end of the matches, or exploit bugs.

_____________ I love it!!!
. 1. Paladin
. 2. Archer
. 3. Druid
. 4. Wizard
____________ And don't argue.
. I've completed the game 30 times, and played it about 100 times.
_________ Magic is the key to victory.
______________ :smile09:
I'm ready to argue) in my opinion, the best configurations are 3 Knights + Cleric (and NPC Flight + NPC Portal) or 3 Wizards + Cleric.
Paladin, Archer, and Druid are neither fish nor fowl, as are almost all intermediate classes.
I've completed the 6th game about 25 times with various variations.
