Here's my question.
I have a licensed copy of "Heroes of Might and Magic" Platinum Edition from Buka. It includes games 1, 2, and 3 (excluding Chronicles and Armageddon's Blade) on three discs. I have two computers: a laptop with Vista Home Premium and a desktop with Windows XP SP2. The problem is, I just returned from a vacation where I was playing "The Shadow of Death" on my laptop. I wanted to continue the campaign on my desktop, but I can't find the saved files. On XP, it saves them in the Games folder, which is located in the game's directory. However, on Vista, that folder is empty, even though the game shows all the saved files. I've tried searching by filename, but the result is zero.
Where should I look for the save files on Vista? And is it possible to transfer them to XP?

i.e., in the search, you need to enter *.GM1, and the search should be conducted on all drives.

If you look carefully, you will see a button that says "show compatibility files". After you click on this button, many other files in the folder will become visible.

P.S. Searching for *.CM1 or *.CMG yields no results.

Here's a question. I sometimes attack neutral creatures and don't calculate my strength properly, and often lose. I would like to know if there is a specific number of monsters for these settings, such as "horde" or "swarm." For example, in the "dwarf horde," how many dwarves are there? Or in the "wyvern swarm," how many wyverns are there?
