Posts from Who plays with which heroes in the Inferno faction?
Daleb provides decent support with a ballista during leveling, but I'm more focused on the future, so I choose Nimue (if I'm not mistaken - Gatekeeper). I always emphasize developing the gates when playing as Inferno.
Daleb is good with a ballista from the start... But in longer games, if you really want to, you can upgrade any hero with them, as there's plenty of time, and Daleb does become an outsider. This opens up a wider selection. Nimue is a classic :) And in general, the demon heroes aren't very impressive... Why would a demon lord need spellcasting? A pretty good special ability for Jezebeth is almost ruined by spellcasting. Alastor would be much better suited to darkness. The logic behind the developers' hero design is a mystery. Or maybe I just don't know how to use these heroes properly?
O God of Earth and Altar, Bow down and hear our cry, Our earthly rulers falter, Our people drift and die, The walls of gold entomb us, The swords of scorn divide, Take not thy thunder from us, Take away our pride.
Yes, but I repeat once again that Nimus has a better future! :) Has anyone maxed out the Hellhound? I'm just curious what it excels at when fully upgraded.

Well... you can make Jezebel into a mediocre chaos mage for fast-to-medium gameplay... who, as John used to say, will reduce the defense of the Fire Lord... and won't have mana problems, although Inferno units don't really have them anyway... As for Alastor... well... he's just... there... he dispels... but he's hard to dispel... I think that the creation of this hero was largely influenced by some kind of mushrooms... I'm telling you - the developers are afraid of criticism from religious groups, and they make Inferno units quite flawed, both in Heroes 3 and Heroes 5.
Could it be that these religious folks play Heroes? :)
You can make something out of Jezebel, as a less-than-ideal option (for example, by agreeing to play with random heroes or random races, which means the heroes will also be random, and so on). But it's definitely not the best option. That's what I'm saying. I personally like the race as a gameplay element, but the limited selection of heroes is a bit of a concern. However, if you follow Andrey's tactic (a hero with 2 magic skills and a level of around 30, equipped with super-tier items), then maybe something impressive can be achieved with Jezebel. After all, the succubi will be attacking with incredible damage, and they'll also have spellcasting for higher-level spells.

I wonder, is there a hero with the Archdevils specialty?
No, of course not; that would make him an overpowered hero, although only in the late game. For me, there are 4 dominant heroes for Inferno. Deleb, Nimues, Nibros, and Jezabeth. By the way, I'd like to hear players' opinions about "Grok." What do you think of him?
