Good day...

I came home from work, launched the game, and I get this error:
The same thing happens with the editor.
Before that, everything worked perfectly for a month. Reinstalling the game didn't help, nor did restoring the system to a previous date. According to my family members, nothing was done with the computer during the day. It's some kind of witchcraft...

Update: If I delete the saves from C:\My Documents\My Games\Heroes of Might and Magic V, everything works fine. Is there any way for me to load the saves (I don't want to lose them), or are they beyond recovery?

Try testing the saves individually, for example, for all campaigns, etc.
Or load them in a different profile.
Also, did you use mods, cheats, or play from saves after installing the patch?
Can you provide more specific information about what exactly it says when it doesn't launch, and perhaps attach a screenshot?

I solved the problem by dragging and dropping the save files. Thanks to everyone.
