I personally like the gargoyles, and that’s that. They look much cooler than in Heroes of Might and Magic III. Moreover, their quirky appearance fits perfectly with their small damage output, while the scary, terrifying, and clawed gargoyles from the Fortress simply disappoint with their weakness.

Ah, they really gave the mages some overly fantastical outfits – they should have done something like the psychic elementals from the third game; that would have been more appropriate.

And the genies were also better in the third game, both in terms of appearance and their heroes.

But the worst is the gargoyle – how could they make a fierce warrior look like a stool?

Probably, the most frequently used words in this topic are "stool" and "nightstand," but in my opinion, gargoyles don't look like stools at all; where are its four legs? Instead, they look like lively stone/obsidian sculptures. And this shocks me:

I think many have seen gargoyles on the roofs of cathedrals and similar places. They look quite good as gargoyles. Long legs with claws, horns, large fangs, bat-like wings, and a tail. That's how they should have been made, not like what they did (I won't repeat it).
Something like this is how they should look. It's a pity that they can no longer be changed in the game.
