Probably, it depends on the extent of the modification :) If it's just a different spear, then it's fine, but if you draw wings on it, then it already becomes a kind of unauthorized modification ;) But it's okay, it's allowed, that's why there's a special award.

Nah, I wouldn't draw a paladin, it's too complicated for me (I've never tried drawing horses before), but I think a Blade Dancer or a vampire would be perfect.

By the way, if one person draws two pictures and another draws three, how will they be numbered and evaluated? :)

No, I don't think that would be entirely fair. In the "best drawing" contest, the most successful one should be chosen at the artist's discretion. And it will be evaluated by voting, which, I believe, will take place in this thread. With other nominations, the voting process will be more complicated; we will either have to create new threads specifically for this, or determine a few people who are not participating in the contest to be on the jury, who will then assign the remaining nominations.

And again, it all comes down to the number of participants. If there are only 7 of them, creating a bunch of threads with nomination choices for seven drawings almost doesn't make sense. We'll decide on this later.

But one way or another, it’s still worth drawing more. At least to submit the best work to the contest.

Actually, I'm participating too, and Major Whirlwind also wrote that he's participating! In general, let's make it so that each participant has to draw 3 pictures. That will be more interesting and there will be more good drawings!:smile20:
Regarding the Knight, I think it's easy to draw him; the question is what to draw him with! For example, all my drawings will be graphic, outlined with a gel pen.:smile47:

Maybe we can finish by June 1st? There’s already enough time. I’m against using Photoshop for any purpose (although I will take photos of my drawings instead of scanning them). Adelaide, the problem is that many people don't have enough time right now because of various exams, tests, and the Unified State Exam, etc. Some might not have time to finish. I suggest we aim to finish the drawings by June, but if someone is running late, they will be given a few extra days to complete the work (no more than a week). Mephisto, I think 3 drawings might be too much. In principle, the contest could be divided into 3 stages: first, we draw units, then (for example) a landscape of a favorite city from the game, and finally, something related to the game's plot and characters. For each stage, a topic will be created in the "contests" section, where the voting will take place. As for myself, I'm not sure if I'll be able to draw or if I'll have time. I can't guarantee my participation, and drawing three pictures is an impossible task for me.

The idea of having 3 stages is good; we should create these topics and start the stages gradually, let's say 1 week per stage, totaling 3 weeks for the contest + 4 weeks while we organize everything, so a month is a perfectly reasonable timeframe.

I would like to ask the organizer what the theme of the contest is. (or, the theme of the first stage of the contest). Is it only units, or heroes in general? It seems that opinions on this are divided. :)

We could compromise and make the theme of one of the stages limited only to belonging to the game, and the theme of another stage - exclusively units. It's up to you, Mephisto. ;)

P.S. Maybe someone else will express their "pros" and "cons"?

I think it's easy to draw a Knight.

I didn't say that I would be drawing a Knight; I just gave an example regarding whether it's possible to make some minor changes to the units or not.
