Let's continue our introduction to the Great Sith...
Darth Bane is a Sith Lord and the founder of the new Sith faith: "There must be two, no more, no less – a teacher and a student", who lived 1000 years before the events of Episode 4 of the original film...
The new faith gave the Sith a goal: to destroy the Republic and the Jedi Order not through brute force and clashes of countless armies of Sith followers, but through internal intrigues, gossip, and secret deeds, through deception and manipulation of victims... In other words, to crush and enslave the Republic and dismantle the Jedi Order from within...
