I have a neutral attitude towards all establishments of this kind, as although the food there is tasty, it is also unhealthy. Therefore, if we go shopping with my wife, it is possible that lunch will take place in establishments of this type (the special preparation of this food makes you want to return there again and again). I think that eating this kind of food once or twice a week cannot have a very detrimental effect on health, i.e., everything should be in moderation. In our city of Omsk, I like Rostiks the most among fast-food establishments, and of course, BLINKA, as a complete alternative to fast food (in my opinion, this establishment is absolutely safe for health), where they prepare amazing pancakes (you can see it happening right in front of you) and put absolutely amazing fillings in them! In addition, they sell Kvass at Blinka (remember the Kvass in barrels from the USSR?), which has a delicious taste and does not contain additives that would increase its shelf life (the shelf life is 3 days in a plastic bottle). In general, I advise everyone to visit this establishment! IMHO: Pancakes are better than chicken and sesame seed buns. Sincerely, VDV_forever

I'll defend McDonald's... I've never gotten sick there, even though I eat there often... and for many years... and the food there is only harmful to those who are prone to being overweight or have stomach problems (it's all very fatty), but that's why they give each customer a table showing the calories and fats in their products... by the way, I can't say that it's very cheap there... there are sandwiches for 100 rubles... hamburgers are not the most delicious, but they are cheap and good for students... And the fries, no matter where you make them, are cold and tasteless... at McDonald's, I've never been given cold fries...

Hmm. I used to eat at McDonald's when I was 10. Now, when I visit my parents in Kyiv (the nearest McDonald's is there), I find that even a quick snack is best at "Puzata Khata." However, there are only 3 of them in all of Kyiv...

But seriously, I took sandwiches and potatoes (not fries, by the way - I can't stand them, but the "country-style" ones) home with me and drank them with regular tea. This is about the two times after which my body strongly asked me to give up McDonald's.

it's funny, I either only eat or only drink when I'm not at home... I don't even know why. I just don't feel like it.
I stopped drinking milkshakes altogether after I once had a really bad one. It was in a seemingly decent stall on the street, with refrigerators and everything. I suddenly strongly disliked its overly sweet taste, I'd rather have a cola. In general, plain water is the best...

McDonald's simply can't afford to violate sanitary standards, unlike various shawarma makers, for one simple reason. It's a well-known brand with a reputation for quality and popularity, and its roots go back a long time in America, where everyone sues everyone else. If it were as bad as some people describe, Mr. Ronald would never be able to pay off his debts...

In general, I support VDV. We also have what you might call "blini" places, where you can get a proper meal and be sure that they haven't put a bunch of chemicals in it. But overall, out of all the bars, restaurants, and cafes, I prefer pizzerias. It's amazing!))) ;)

You say that the sanitary conditions are good, but that's not true. A friend of mine had an experience: the guy who prepares the potatoes cut himself, and he just grabbed a ready-made package, put the potatoes in, and brought it to the counter... that's your sanitation... + I'm sure that many (if not all) of the girls working in these establishments have manicured nails (even though the rules say they should be wearing white coats, shoe covers, caps, and gloves) (I assure you, that's how it should be... I'm a future food processing specialist). And where there are nails, there's dirt, even if you think they're clean.

I love everything that goes between the buns... I mean sandwiches and their variations (sandwiches, hamburgers))).

P.S. And in general, it's best to eat at home... which is what I do))).

Regarding the dropped potatoes, this is an exception rather than a common occurrence. In such cases, the potatoes are discarded, and a new batch is made. Moreover, if a customer finds a dropped potato, it is immediately replaced, just like a drink.

Nails are definitely supposed to be trimmed. If this isn't the case, it's a managerial oversight. But in any case, this doesn't apply to all McDonald's restaurants.

The only thing that applies to all of them is the occasional incomplete order. Every fifth customer comes and says that something was missing from their order.

But in Nizhny Novgorod, there are many of them. It seems like there's one in every district. And the first thing you'll see when you arrive in our city, after the train station, will be a McDonald's.
Personally, they don't bother me and don't cause any irritation. Sometimes the queues are annoying, of course... But in general, it's very convenient to pop in. I haven't tried eating there constantly (and don't want to). But after fries (whether regular or "country-style"), cola with ice, and ice cream - these are my preferences - you can definitely live. I've tested it myself!

We have a lot of McDonald's restaurants in Dnipro, but there's almost always a huge queue. And I'm not always ready to wait half an hour to eat. But the food there is quite edible, and the place is nice too – cool and clean. Of course, I understand that the food there is unhealthy, but sometimes I can't resist...

Ooh, "Puzata Khata"... Isn't it the epitome of Ukrainian cuisine?;) We don't have many of them in our city either, about two, but they're in the center, and I often go there. As for restaurants, yes, you can't afford to eat there all the time. There's also a small eatery, "Tema," I think, with prices like McDonald's and food quality almost like a restaurant:D

The food there is quite tasty, in my opinion. However, after eating it, I sometimes experience an unpleasant feeling in my stomach. Of course, this doesn't happen to everyone, as everyone has their own unique stomach that they don't change. The only thing that doesn't affect my dad (he has serious stomach problems) is ice cream. Especially chocolate ice cream, yummy!

Oh, pancakes!
In Moscow, there are pancake stands almost everywhere. They bake them right in front of you and fill them with meat/cheese/salmon/etc., and there are no queues. So, why go anywhere else?)
Although, even there, the cheapest pancakes cost a little more than 50 rubles, and most are around 100 rubles.
And a couple of burgers, or fries with a Big Tasty, will be much more filling for the same price. And you can sit at a table.
"The fallen potato" - all of this is just a rumor, like "someone already ate the patties from McDonald's before you." If it's true, then it's really an isolated incident, which even an expensive restaurant isn't immune to. And the employee was probably fired:)
