No one is supposed to be contacted :) I wrote to my opponent and waited for a response – if I didn't get one, I wrote to the referee; that's enough for the referee to decide who's slacking and who wants to play :smile01: The schedule doesn't change anything; it only complicates things...
For example, I played the game with Marsel for only 2 days in a row, and with Commandant, it was exactly the same – a week later, on Saturday and Sunday. And I started the game with Brackman 3 weeks ago – we loaded the save twice, but we still haven't finished it, even though we communicate online every 3-4 days. And Argonavt hasn't even started any games. The reason is that I have a 2-hour time difference with the first 2 players, a 7-hour difference with Brackman, and Argonavt was on a business trip for the first 3 weeks after the tournament started.
What can change the game schedule? The fact that Brackman and I will have a technical draw? Should Argonavt be immediately credited with 2-3 technical losses? Although, theoretically, he can achieve these results in 2 weeks. Well, and I would have played the first 2 games anyway during the first week of the World Championship...
There is nothing particularly useful in the game schedule; it can only limit the time for games. And you can understand who wants to play and who isn't particularly interested without a game schedule. There is a results table, game reports are posted, everything is fine :)

Ruslan has essentially explained everything in the calendar. I'll add a little from myself. If there was a strict schedule of games, it wouldn't force inactive players to get in touch (this is already a proven fact), but it would prevent good, honest players from playing in the tournament. For example, Gagatek, Mordaunt, and Atos couldn't play in the first couple of weeks, and now they will try to catch up. The current system provides flexibility.
In addition, the calendar would immerse all the judges in weekly reviews of situations. We would get bogged down, looking for the guilty parties.
Unfortunately, we are suffering losses again... Argonavt has withdrawn from the tournament.

Exactly!!! The people in the group who send you official messages via email in the first few days expressing their desire to play with you deserve at least some respect. I'm primarily talking about our foreign friends, my "groupmates" Druidasd and Hadrian (of course, they're not the only ones :smile26:). But the people who persistently pressured the judges before the Championship regarding the organization and details of the event, and then suddenly disappeared without a trace for a month and a half, and didn't even bother to show up for the agreed-upon game, without even informing anyone, should, in my opinion, receive a warning, followed by exclusion for a repeat of such an incident... :smile19: It's just that on the appointed day, you drop everything and wait for your opponent. When you realize that they won't show up, you think about what you could have done with that time instead of just staring at the monitor, watching the opponent's status in Hamachi or ICQ... I understand, unforeseen circumstances and all that... we're all human, there's nothing to even discuss, but it's still possible to inform about the inability to play... IMO, it's even necessary. I've gotten carried away:) Sorry, it's been bothering me ;)
