Discussion of moderators' actions is permitted in this thread, which is prohibited by point 4.22 of the violation system

Anyway, here is what we are talking about...
As an ex-moderator to moderators.
1. A moderator's duty is to maintain order on the forum. Suggestions regarding a sore subject:
Ban Ezhik for 2 days for creating a thread that directly insults a forum member. Personal disputes should be handled via PM.
Ban Tigrenok for a week for a message in the Heroes5 game discussion thread.
Please delete/merge duplicate threads
2. A moderator's duty also includes being a newsmaker. Unfortunately, the current staff is not doing this. Most threads have not been updated since the release of Heroes. For example, regarding magic. Guys, let's not slack off ;)
After all, most people come to the forum for information, not to read arguments about whether the game is good or bad.

3. For the Forum Administration. During my time as a moderator, I did not find a mechanism for banning users. Maybe I just looked poorly, or maybe only the admin has this right? IMHO, moderators should be given more authority, specifically to ban users. But an accessible and clear same-ban system needs to be implemented. I can assist in its creation. At least on the Nival forum, my system was practically accepted (even if not 100%).
4. For Users. THE ACTIONS OF MODERATORS AND ADMINISTRATION ARE NOT TO BE DISCUSSED. The only option is a PM to a moderator or administrator.
5. All of this is because I want order on the forum. After all, I am (perhaps immodestly) one of the oldest users on the forum ;)

I'm not the boss for you to listen to me ;) I just would like to see all the topics updated with information about the game. Since the game has been released and there is plenty of 100% accurate information available.

I've added a rather substantial section to the Heroes II forum. Those interested can take a look and share their opinions here. I have a question. (I don't know where else to ask it, so I'm posting it here.)
In every user's profile, there's a section called "Group Memberships."
As far as I've seen, this section isn't filled in for anyone. I also couldn't figure out how to edit it...
Is this something that's being developed for the future, or is it just an unused feature?
In other words, were these groups planned but then abandoned, or what...?
I think I'm not the only one who has this question, but everyone was too shy to ask.

Also, I would like to mention some future upgrades to our portal:

• An open online library is being developed, which will allow everyone to add information to it. It will be equipped with a search function, which will allow users to extract the maximum information from it for those who are looking for something about Might and Magic. So, when it is officially launched, I think all informative articles about Heroes should be added there. This will also allow us to create sections on the main page dedicated to each part of the game, with its own design. Moderators of the corresponding sections on the forum can also work on designing the corresponding sections on the main page. But this is all in the near future. There is no need to start a discussion about this now.

Prorok has vanished into oblivion, RomaShSh - disappeared, natasha - hasn't even been on the forum for 2 months, AndersonAD - has nothing to do with HoMM3 moderation, VDV_forever - was busy with a Tournament for 2 months.... and what do we see? CHAOS...

Admin, now it's your turn, please do something... if you don't want to appoint new mods, at least wake up the old ones... otherwise, it feels like Admin is a god (the only one left to pray to), while the mods, like tsars (messengers of god), have hidden away in their chambers somewhere, and the people (us) have forgotten what they're even called...

I have a question and a request.
First, regarding the situation. Yesterday, a number of messages were deleted from the HoMM3 online tournament threads (/topic/2224/ and /topic/2282/), including a couple of mine. The reason was off-topic content.

1. Question. How are posts that are partially off-topic viewed on this resource? That is, part of the post relates to the topic, and part does not. Is this grounds for deleting the entire post? If so, I will try to avoid "lyrical digressions" in the future, as my posts are dear to me at least as a memory of the time spent on them. :)

Deleting doesn't take long – but you still need to find it, which is probably why this topic was created – "links for off-topic discussions"

But you can see Adelaida's reaction to performing this part of her work yourself! Just look at Alan's profile and read her comment to him, specifically this part:

You are a person who didn't care about HW, who only performed moderation duties by cleaning up off-topic discussions (don't expect me to behave the same way)

And yet, Alan managed to organize tournaments and moderate the forum while he was a Super Moderator...
