Death is not the reverse side of life. It is an entirely different category. One cannot exist without the other, but it is pointless to oppose them. One cannot apply the standards of the living to the undead, and vice versa. The undead are a mystery. That is why they are so alluring.

Xaker, do you even consider Necropolis to be evil? Because not everyone is convinced of that, although it's obvious to me.

And why should the Necropolis faction necessarily be evil? It’s only in human perception, which is never objective.

To AlexeyPank: Since you want to "become undead," remember what happened to Nicholas. I understand what you want, but it's better to be alive, to live a life with dignity, and to die leaving behind many good deeds. That way, you will live on, becoming a part of other people and remaining in their memories and hearts! As undead, you will exist no more than a stone thrown into the water – just as cold, heartless, and doomed to wander a world to which you no longer belong – the world of the living. And over time, if not immediately, you will curse everything that made you that way, although you won't get that chance. To curse means to hate, but how can you hate without a soul...?

All of this is truly frightening. I agree with you on that. But how can we, the living, understand the undead? What seems terrifying to us is natural for them. I believe that life after death is not what we imagine it to be. The undead are drawn to mystery, as I said before. I love mysteries.

That's a difficult question because I don't quite consider them evil...
Well, by their nature, I know that Necropolis is evil... but I don't consider them that evil, because the most evil ones are demons... well, something like that...

The Necromancer faction truly pleased me in the 5th installment. They are strong, beautiful, and terrifying – exactly what a dream faction should be. The creators clearly put a lot of effort into them, and the result is an excellent faction. The ghosts are very interesting, with their chains and everything. And the liches – where do they get the knife and book from? I don't quite understand, or rather, I don't understand how they are attached to them and what they are held on. But overall, it looks beautiful. The Enigmas are almost glowing – amazing! The Death Knights are strong, and their abilities are impressive.
