Indeed, playing an online game is much faster than completing an offline tournament. A very large number of online matches are played on a relatively small number of maps. In this regard, knowledge of the map on which the battle takes place plays a huge role. And what is the best way to learn a map? Of course, by playing it offline! The HotSpot map is one of the quite popular maps for online play. Since I was working under the concept of a tournament, this map assumes a starting position for the Knight. After analyzing quite a few online matches, I found a winning game by Deep Mike, which was played precisely from the position offered in this tournament. Usually, this map is played online with blue and green colors. You start with blue; pay attention to the green opponent (also a Knight) – when you play against a human, he will be located in this position. Those who have already played in tournaments where I was involved in map editing can breathe a sigh of relief. In this tournament, I deviated from the tradition of harsh saves, such as hordes of aggressively arranged butterflies. The map editing was minimal; you could say it was almost friendly. The fact is that the goal is precisely to prepare for online play, so everything on the map remains as it usually is. It is no secret to me that Hell Executioner, Nzol, and Catch have achieved excellent results on this map as the green player. I hope that they will also find it interesting to play from the green position. Online masters – Captain, Dust, PReDS, Brennan, Gynnar, and others! Thank you for the invitation, but I have to decline for several reasons, the main one being that Hot Spot has become rather tiresome and is no longer of interest to me, especially in an offline setting. In general, I think I can predict the outcome of the tournament with pinpoint accuracy. :-)

Well, in reality, I wouldn't make such a bold statement ;) The difference between this map and the official one is the need to capture all opponents, including the central one. And in online play, it rarely comes to that. :)

I'm sure that even if you can determine the completion time of this map down to the day..., the results won't be the same :), and the density of results will only add to the intrigue ;).
However, I think that your editing will only enhance this map :)

P.S. while it's not too late, the map can also be "tweaked" - this will add some zest and possibly attract more players...:).
