Please advise: what should I do to install the patch? The game was purchased legally, but it is not installed in C:\Program Files, but together with other games, which is logical. However, the installer says that the game is not installed correctly. What should I do?

I have the same bug, but my game was on a different disk.
Method 1:
Move the game folder to C:\Program Files and then back.
Method 2:
Create a folder named "heroes" and install the updates there, then move these updates to the game folder.
Both of these methods worked for me.

I tried all three recommended methods... with no result. It seems like the patch isn't corrupted either... What's the problem? :eek:

Dear Vass, if this condition is met, simply reinstalling the game in the standard folder might help. During uninstallation, just don't select "delete saved games."
