Basically, if I install Equilibris on the unpatched version of the game without any add-ons (i.e., version 1.0), will the main bugs of version 1.0 disappear? I mean this: the music looping, slowdowns in swamps, and slowdowns during long gameplay sessions. Thanks in advance.

If installed correctly, the bugs from version 1.0 will naturally disappear.

I patched it to version 2.0 (Russian version), but when I try to launch a campaign, an error message appears.

in the localized translation, they are called:

"The Impending Storm"
"Whirlwinds of War"

there is also a mod that online players use, called "Equilibrium" (it balances the online gameplay)

Whirlwinds of War is the latest version. If you have it installed on top of the original Heroes without Gathering Storm, you simply need to uninstall Heroes 4 and then install the three parts in sequence: 1. Original, 2. Gathering Storm, 3. Whirlwinds of War.
