Indeed, it's time to get started before people lose interest. The voting will end on Friday evening. Based on the results, I will create configuration files and post them on the forum. As for helping players install the TE itself, I'm asking everyone who knows how to do it to lend a hand. I installed it sequentially, starting with WOG 3.<something there> up to 3.58f, then TE, starting with the very first release, and as new versions came out, I upgraded. But I don't know how to install it from scratch on WOG or, even more so, on SOD.
On Saturday, registration for the tournament will open, and ideally, everyone who wants to participate should install the game over the weekend. By Sunday evening, we'll finalize the rules and regulations. And we can start next week :)

I think the game settings should align with those accepted for the season. And heroes shouldn't be banned. If Galthran is banned, then Shakti should be banned as well. If Tazarr is banned, then Crag Hack should be too. We'll make the game less interesting.

Unfortunately, the voting suggests either a desire to play with heroes like Solmyr, who has the Chain Lightning spell right from the start of the game, or, as you put it, a "simplification of the game" - only 5 out of 13 votes were in favor of changing the starting skills of the heroes...

After installation, you need to copy all the text files from the attached archive into the Data directory. This operation is done only once. Then, when creating a game server, you need to find the "WOG Settings" button in the right part of the game options window and click it. Next, find the button at the bottom that looks like a floppy disk, click it, and select the sod.dat file from the Data directory. Now the settings are loaded. For reliability, it is necessary to repeat this operation each time when creating a host.

The tournament rules are expected to be similar to those of the "Favorites" tournament – first, group stages, then semi-finals, and finally, the final.
