Yes, there's a mace inside that gives +40 to leadership, heals wounds, attack +14, and deals 2d4+14 damage.

It's not necessary to search for obelisks – catch the King during the first summer, kill him, and loot the key from his corpse.

Heh, and I had armor... it must have been random...

There are always 3 artifacts there – the aforementioned mace, the Minotaur axe, and the vampire dagger, plus a lot of the best ore (I don’t remember the name anymore) and a couple of random ordinary items.

. The chest has a limit.
. Not all items can fit in the chest; it's possible to store more valuable treasures.
. However, this is only technically possible!!!
