Posts from Which unit in the Academy castle do you dislike the most in terms of its appearance?
The titans and gremlins were not designed correctly))... although the latter are good... Since everything here is Arabic and so on...), golems, mages, and djinns are well-dressed... Rakshasas from Indian mythology... but what do the titans look like? Some kind of iron men... In the 4th game, at least, they resembled the Greeks)).. and they looked better there, and in the 3rd and 2nd... something Roman (I think)... IMHO... So, in the 5th game, they should have dressed him in something oriental)... but they just put on a belt and that's it =( P.S. Although I like the unit itself, and it's okay... but they could have done better.
Dj Pavlusha, what exactly don't you like about Rakshasa? Isn't it much cooler than Naga? (By the way, the creatures that were given to us as Nagas in the 3rd game are not Nagas at all, but Echidnas, from Greek mythology http://myfhology.narod.ru/monsters/ehidna.html, Nagas are like this: http://myfhology.narod.ru/monsters/nagi.html). Arandor, how do you imagine a Titan in something oriental, like a burqa or something? :smile52:, that would look interesting... Andrey Tychinin, and what's wrong with Gremly?
It's a good and interesting website; you can find most of the creatures from the Heroes series there, but Rakshasas aren't just like that. They are also described as Indian vampires (quite a vampire!), and I saw a third description on the same site, similar to the Rakshasa from Heroes 5 (lion's head, 4 arms, human body).
To be honest, I really don't like the Genies and their upgrades either. The most unappealing thing about them is that they don't seem to have a head. I mean, that turban (or whatever it is) is just placed directly on the Genie's neck! What's beautiful about that! Maybe someone won't agree with me, but I think the Genies were better in Heroes of Might and Magic III!
Yeah, in Heroes of Might and Magic III, the Genies weren't that great either; the improved versions had a rather frightening face. Maybe that's why they made them completely insane, and I think a turban would look better than yet another hideous face...
Goblins look better than Tumblers, especially look at the parapet in the castle; this is what happens when you smoke a hookah – it’s anti-tobacco advertising, and it shows that Islam is a religion that arose, as you understand, for a certain reason; see the first point, it shows the dominance of the USA, so why wouldn’t the governor of California be the supreme being in the castle, and the fact that people watch TV more often than the religions they believe in and have created an idol for themselves shows betrayal. Necromancers are Judaism because the sign of Judaism is visible under the creatures, and it shows that this religion is dead. In general, that’s how it all turns out if you think logically. I have expressed my opinion, and I am very sorry that Ubisoft touched on such a conflict. I ask the moderators and the very angry coordinator not to delete my post.
I will ask you not to express yourself like that about Islam.
They did the right thing by making the Academy in an Arabic or Islamic style – Europe learned medicine and other things from there (even how to wash their hands).
But I agree with the Mages that the headgear, proportions, and color scheme of the Djinns need to be reworked – no one can wear such a colorful outfit.
Here’s where the Djinns were cool – in Heroes 3 – the master Djinns. Although they are not bad in 4 either. The hero Solmyr is the coolest of them.
Titans – in the third game, when they are shot at, they make such a wheezing sound that you can feel that they are otherworldly beings. In 4, they generally look like Sultan Ibrahimov in a helmet, only the lightning is fake.
And the Gargoyles… terrible… They could have taken them from the third game…
By the way, are Goblins only an experiment in the 5th game?
This is a perversion – drawing a Rakshasa princess with a male body. They are glowing with blue light, as if they overdid it with the bruises. What are princesses doing on the battlefield, and why aren't they wearing capes?:smile22:
