In Heroes of Might and Magic 5, the Sylvan faction, specifically the Master Archers, easily deserves a 5 out of 5. Unfortunately, in Heroes of Might and Magic 3, these units aren't as strong and don't have the same impact, so I choose the Lizards from the Swamp. Thanks to these censored, I can't seem to defeat the Fortress, so they get my preference. Of course, there are many good ranged units in the game, but for this nation, which is hanging by a thread, fighting through defense and luck against Necromancers and the Tower, these Lizards are a hope and a mainstay.
Спортсменом можешь ты не быть, но пыль в глаза пустить обязан!
Lizards from the Swamp? Something feels off. I would say the opposite. It's hard to call lizards archers at all. I don't want to offend anyone, but they are really very "weak" archers. And to say that Fortress relies solely on these archers??? I don't think so at all. With all due respect to you, kien, I completely disagree. I also disagree with you about the elven archers. In Heroes of Might and Magic III, they are also very strong. You seem to be underestimating them. Re-evaluate the elven archers, the lizards, and Fortress as a whole.
I completely agree. Why did the game creator give archers such a strong tower (as many as 3) and skimp on the fortress (only those pathetic lizard-men)? The fortress is a very serious castle (on the first turn, you can build wyverns, very strong harpy, especially upgraded ones), but archers... whether they're there or not, it doesn't make much difference.
Добро потеряешь - не много потеряешь, честь потеряешь - много потеряешь, мужество потеряешь - все потеряешь.
I like snipers the most (for shooting without penalties))), then Titans (because they are cool))), and finally Liches (for the death cloud))), but in general, I like all ranged units from the third Heroes game))).
Archers who have a lot of health (compared to others) but deal little damage! :) And greater damage is more important, in my opinion, even if, for example, it's a one-on-one fight with some warrior, because you'll kill them faster, and they won't have time to deal much damage, so health won't help them. And in general, archers are more of a support unit, they attack their friends, and they help with shooting, so life isn't as important as damage! And if they get caught in melee combat, they'll be cut down sooner or later!
So, crossbowmen are much better than lizard warriors!
(Let's just say that if you come across neutral creatures and there are, for example, 100 lizard warriors and 100 crossbowmen, I'm sure your first target will be the crossbowmen because they are more dangerous!)
If we are to compare archers, then it should be based on their usefulness. Otherwise, it's like this situation: I was hanging out with an old friend, and it turned out that I had a Marauder parked in my garage... there was a girl... her eyes were shining... she was drooling... (apparently, someone had told her about it...) - so, she came over... and, apparently, she was trying to make a connection... she asks: "...what kind of bike is that ("show-off," I guess :p)?"... and I, like an idiot, started rambling about the technical specifications, the hardware, etc... apparently, I got a little carried away at that moment and didn't notice the young "listener's" face slowly turning blank... And then my monologue was interrupted by a friend, with a phrase that made me smile: "Lena, just don't listen to him... the Marauder is black with chrome accents..." and the girl squealed and jumped for joy, practically worshipping, as I understood, the technical progress of my bike )))) So, here... Let's, if we're going to discuss it, discuss the technical characteristics...
An archer is a unit that is needed at the beginning of the game; later, it serves as a distraction - in case someone decides to cast fire spells on them instead of summoning angels...
The most helpful archer (in hiking and water terms, its further designation will be "Grebiblya!") ... So, the "Grebiblya" class includes (listed from top to bottom... the more useful and higher quality ones are at the top...): 1. Wood Elf 2. Gremlin 3. Storms 4. Lizardmen 5. Human 6. Gogs 7. Magogs
The last two had to be separated...
Next, "Grebiblya" - archers that can later form the CORE of the army...
1. Lich 2. See above 3. See above 4. Zealots 5. Cyclops
And finally, the evil "Grebiblya"... although there aren't many of them - just one...
well, here the question is about the best Titan, and the funniest one is the Gremlin :) There are many of them, and they are green. By the way, what makes Grand Elves weak for their 3rd level?
