FOURTH OFFLINE HEROES OF MIGHT AND MAGIC I "CAMPAIGN" TOURNAMENT

TOURNAMENT RULES

1. To participate in the fourth offline Heroes of Might and Magic I "CAMPAIGN" tournament, you must register on our website www.heroesworld.ru and submit an application in this thread.

2. The tournament is conducted using the Russian version of Heroes of Might and Magic I from Buka. Saves will be generated on the Russian version 1.1.

3. The tournament will consist of 8 stages, as that is how many campaign maps were created by the developers. The goal of the game is to defeat the enemy or fulfill a specific condition within each individual scenario.
- Upon completion of each stage, a player rating will be awarded, which will accumulate with each subsequent successful completion of a stage.
- A reward will be given for each stage (in the profile and under the avatar), thereby providing an incentive for the player at every stage.
- The overall winner of this tournament (across all stages) receives a prize in the form of a trophy (in the profile and under the avatar).
- This is a rated tournament, so you should start earning your rating now, as the highest-rated player on our site at the end of the year will receive a separate prize in the form of an absolute winner's trophy, as well as an honorary certificate sent by mail.

4. Results will be evaluated primarily based on minimum time. If several players have identical completion times, the best will be determined by the sum of primary skills (attack, defense, magic, knowledge) INCLUDING EQUIPPED ARTIFACTS of the player's best hero; if a favorite is still not determined, then by the amount of mercury.

6. Send saves to the email address VDV_forever@BK.RU

The submitted save must contain the tournament number (4), the stage number, the participant's number in the application table, the stage abbreviation (for the first stage P - PROLOGUE), and the player's Nick.

Example:

7. In case a player is suspected of cheating or other malicious intent while completing the map, it is necessary to save every game day, as well as before and immediately after a difficult battle.
In such an event (detection of cheating), the player will be required to send additional saves and provide a walkthrough description to the tournament organizer to determine whether the play was fair or unfair.
The result of a player who played unfairly will be nullified, and their further participation in tournaments will be impossible. This will also reflect poorly on their reputation.

8. Discussion of the tournament during its progress is FORBIDDEN!!!
(Players who violate this rule automatically disqualify themselves from playing the tournament; their results will not be counted and will be annulled).

9. The first stage of the tournament starts on October 6 and lasts until October 20 (inclusive!) 2007. Results will be announced on October 23, 2007.

The second stage of the tournament starts on October 23 and lasts until November 11 (inclusive!) 2007. Results will be announced on November 14, 2007.

The third stage of the tournament starts on November 26 and lasts until December 10 (inclusive!) 2007. Results will be announced on December 14, 2007.

The fourth stage of the tournament starts on January 12, 2008, and lasts until February 1 (inclusive!) 2008. Results will be announced on February 4, 2008.

The fifth stage of the tournament starts on March 13, 2008, and lasts until April 13 (inclusive!) 2008. Results will be announced on April 16, 2008.

The sixth stage of the tournament starts on May 26, 2008, and lasts until June 20 (inclusive!) 2008. Results will be announced on June 23, 2008.

The seventh stage of the tournament starts on July 7, 2008, and lasts until August 7 (inclusive!) 2008. Results will be announced on August 13, 2008.
Note - this stage of the tournament is also conducted as part of the annual Van Kanigem tournament (Stage 6 of the Van Kanigem tournament).

The eighth stage of the tournament starts on September 20, 2008, and lasts until October 20 (inclusive!) 2008. Results will be announced on October 23, 2008.

10. After your save is received, you will see in the application table that:

save accepted - indicated by a bold Nick.
save counted - indicated by a blue bold Nick.
save not counted - indicated by a red bold Nick.

This list can be expanded by new participants!
We invite everyone to participate in the tournament!

Saves will only be considered for players who are in this table, so submit your applications IN ADVANCE!!!

Sequence of actions:

1.Download the save.

2.The downloaded save must be placed on your computer in the GAMES folder of the installed Heroes of Might and Magic I.

3.Load it and start playing at any time convenient for you, while remembering to make daily saves.

4.After reaching the final action (after which victory occurs), save again.

5.A full description of the tournament map is encouraged (optional). If provided, the best ones will be published in the thread: "Hall of Fame own our best heroes"!

6.Send this save to the specified address (in the rules of this tournament).

7.Wait for the results.
