How can I play Heroes of Might and Magic 3 online? Maybe someone knows about some servers or something like that. And which version of the game is needed for this purpose?

What do you mean? If you played NFS using IP addresses, then you can do the same in Heroes. What does "different IP addresses" mean – they shouldn't be the same, right? I have a couple of ideas... 1st – Heroes might just be glitching. 2nd – you need to enter the correct IP address, not the one in the game, but the actual external IP address of the server (the person who created the game, and not using IPX but TCP\IP). This can happen – it says "address not found"... But I couldn't figure out how to fix it – usually, it doesn't last long, and after 10-15 attempts, it works... But the last resort is to install the TE version – there are useful links in my signature – everything you need is there. That's the only thing I can advise.
it's clear that the IPs are different – they can't be the same within a network, but are in different networks: my IP is 172.25.5.10, and my friend's is 172.25.10.113. So, I'm on the 5th network, and he's on the 10th. Regarding TE – I'll try it, hopefully it solves the problem.

If you both have ADSL and Blade of Armageddon (by the way, this is version 3.1), there shouldn't be any technical problems... I just didn't understand what number you are dialing.... Do you even have the Hamachi program? We almost all play through it...
