Hmm... so who won in the end? :-)
Volland won.
:smile13: :smile14: :smile13:
at 211, the opponent takes my secondary hero, which I didn't expect. He builds a Stronghold, he has 4 Angels, and I have 59 Harpies, 9 Minotaurs, and 52 Imps. The opponent surrendered during the battle!

I took the Castles as I pleased. I wanted to train my least favorite Tower. I took all the remaining resources. As a result, I had 2 native heroes in the tavern, next to the Castle there were two hidden camps of Grem, and another one was 4 days away. The resource spawn was so poor that it made me want to cry. On the first day, I found a magic item in the Citadel. There was absolutely no gold, no Crypts, and no Nagas. On the second week, I captured one secondary Inferno Castle and sent Neela into the wilderness, but there was nothing to return to the tavern with. Therefore, I spent the second week clearing out the area with weak units, while Neela collected resources bit by bit. With incredible effort, I managed to build everything except Giants in the Castle by the end of the second week. By the end of the second week, Neela was level 6. I wanted to give up, but I didn't rush. There was one interesting moment. The secondary Castle was guarded by Ice Golems and Silver Pegasi. I used Grem to break through the Pegasi with a few heroes and a support unit, and I wanted to send in a couple more heroes for gathering. But no, the Ice Golems wouldn't let me. I had to fight them with Grem as well. As a result, I lost 50 Grem. The only good thing was that Neela had Slow and starting Earth magic. All that was left was to upgrade them. The third week was active: Neela reached level 14, I took an Earth Orb from the treasure, a shield +3/3 attack/defense, a Pandora's Box for 15,000 gold, and freed Shiva from the prison, who was level 10 and took one resource crate with 2 Angels. On the third week, I built a Capitol and Giants, and I plan to break the Grand Order in the middle of the 4th week - a horde of cavalry, and along the way, I will take a resource crate from Valeska's resource spawn, which the opponent somehow didn't take. On day 145, I break through 80 horses, take the resource crate (it turned out to be a tier 3 crate), and position myself next to the opponent's Castle. On the next turn, he surrenders. He lost twice and had nothing left to fight with in the final. He had a great setup: three hidden camps of Archers, and a hidden camp of Angels right next to the Castle.
Thank you for the game!

We picked castles as we wished. I felt like training the Tower faction, which I don't usually like. We took all the restarts. In the end, two native heroes in the tavern, two external dwellings of gremlins next to the castle, and another one a 4-day march away. The respawn was so poor it made me want to cry. First mage guild in the citadel. There was basically no gold, no crypts, no nagabanks. On the second week, I captured one secondary Inferno town and ventured into the wilds with Neela, but there was no gold to transfer back to the tavern. So I barely cleared the second week with low-tier troops, while Neela gathered resources bit by bit :) . With incredible effort, by the second week I built everything except giants in the castle. By the end of the second week, Neela was level 6 :) . I felt like surrendering, but I wasn't in a hurry. There was one interesting moment. The secondary town was guarded by ice elementals and silver pegasuses. I broke through the pegasuses with just gremlins and a screen, intending to send a couple more heroes for gathering. But no — the ice elementals wouldn't let them through. I had to take them out with just gremlins too. In the end, I lost 50 gremlins. One thing cheered me up — Neela had Slow and basic Earth magic. Just needed to level it up. The third week was active — Neela level 14, picked up an Earth Elemental sphere in the treasury, a shield +3/+3 attack/defense, a Pandora's Box with 15k gold, freed Shiva from a level 10 prison, who then took a single conservatory with 2 angels. On the third week, I built the Capitol and giants, and plan to break ГО in the middle of the fourth week — a horde of cavaliers, along the way taking a conservatory on Valeska's respawn that the opponent for some reason never took. At 145, I break through 80 horses, take the conservatory (turned out to be a tier 3 one) and set up next to the opponent's castle. On the next turn, he surrenders. He had lost twice and had nothing to fight with in the final battle. His situation was simply golden: three external dwellings of marksmen, an external dwelling of angels right next to his castle.
Thanks for the game!
XL map without basement, standard rules.
Took one restart each and got a decent generation ... on the first week I built Bears with Castle and even the Prefecture :) :) :)
But in my excitement, I forgot to take Orcs as off-town units on the seventh day, and didn't buy them out either - although I still had some money ... on the second week I grabbed a native secondary town!!! built ranks 1-3.5 there in Castle ... Ogres and Cyclops in the capital.
On the third week I built Bears in the same secondary town and the capitol at my Dess, which is still leveling up and clearing ... plenty of resources, but was unlucky with crypts or dwarf mines or cans ... there was only one can (minimal) and three dwarf mines: one minimal and 2 with 100 dwarves each ... by the way, I took the minimal one on the 3rd or 4th turn ... with 3 rocks, 17 wolves, and 37 goblins.
Well, after playing for a month - I decided to move out ... after all, a Barbarian is supposed to rush ... but I was constantly held back by having built Bears in both towns ... I grabbed the opponent's secondary town while it was empty ... cleared it up a bit while bringing my army ... and moved toward the capital ...
1-2 turns before the capital, the opponent took a max Dragon Utopia - but didn't return to the capital, and his dragons got beaten up a bit ...
His stats jumped sharply and exceeded mine ... I urgently tried to catch his "krutyaka" (powerhouse) - but just missed him twice (he had a Book of Air) and + all fire magic ... basically, it was tough in battle and in the end he even bought himself out - but there was nothing left for him to fight with ... on the second attempt I finished him off - but a real horde of the Barbarian population was lost...
Before the clashes: 14 Bears, 14 Cyclops, 47 Thunderbirds, 33 Ogres, 95 Orc Chieftains, 150 Raiders, and 190 Hobgoblins ... after the clash: 1 Bear, 24 Thunderbirds ... about 30 Orc Chieftains, 9 Ogres, and some other random stuff ...
P.S. Thanks to the opponent for another interesting game (Barbarian Rush on 2-2-3 :D )

We picked castles by choice again and I decided to train my "favorite" :D The respawn was mediocre, but the stable with an external dwelling of fire elementals and a conservatory couldn't fail to please. On the first week I was a bit short on cash for angels, so I built psychos in the stronghold. I took both secondary heroes only on the second week (Tower and Fortress). Also on the second week, angels were built in the castle, and Gunnisson dug out one angel from the conservatory. There was nothing interesting on the entire map. GO - gold dragons, so I started waiting for the tactics to be given to break through them. The skills were ideal (tactics, defense, earth, and something else), though I never managed to level up attack and logistics to expert. Anyway, I wandered around the map looking for goodies to later use the library (also on my respawn) to break through the gold dragons and pay a visit. Then I accidentally stumbled upon blue's scout hero. I killed him and immediately my plans changed. I spit on the dragons and the library, gathered everything I could buy, and attacked blue's castle. The constantly blessing-affected 10 angels left Valeska no chance.
Thanks for the game!

We picked castles by preference again and I decided to practice my "favorite" :D The respawn was mediocre, but a stable with an external dwelling of fire elementals and a conservatory couldn't help but please. On the first week I was a bit short on cash for birds, so I built psychics in the stronghold. I only hired both secondary heroes on the second week (Tower and Fortress). Also on the second week, birds were built in the castle and Gurnisson dug out one angel from the conservatory. There was nothing interesting on the entire map. GO - gold dragons, so I started waiting for tactics to be granted to break through them. I got perfect skills (tactics, defense, earth, and something else), though I never managed to level up anything except attack and logistics to expert. In short, I roamed the map looking for goodies, intending to then use the library (which I also had on the respawn) to break through the gold dragons and pay a visit. Then I accidentally stumbled upon blue's scout hero. I killed him and my plans immediately changed. I gave up on the dragons and the library, pulled together everything I could buy, and attacked blue's castle. The 10 birds, who kept getting morale boosts, left Valeska no chance.
Thanks for the game!
Thanks to my opponent for the game!
The AI was unfortunate, developing randomly. It went through the underground, building a decent army. It emerged on the opponent's territory, took a Medusa Hut, and continued. Its turn ended, and the opponent attacked. I had an army advantage and, after damaging the opponent, it surrendered! I took the main town and a secondary town. Then, the opponent took advantage of the moment, took its secondary town, and settled there. I had to fight in the city. Its army was weak. I positioned Minotaurs on the water, and luckily, they entered the city. There were Manticores and Minotaurs, and they quickly defeated everyone!
Thank you for the game!
The game was long and interesting. As always, I developed slowly, and I was lucky that my opponent underestimated my strength and allowed me to develop. With roughly equal forces, the outcome of the battle was decided by expert speed-up and slow-down abilities.
Thank you to my opponent for the game.
