Posts from Which Castle do you prefer to play as?

Personally, I enjoy playing as Fortress. While Castle might not be the most powerful, it's the easiest to set up. Fortress has dragonflies, which, in my opinion, are the strongest creatures of level 3, not counting Great Elves. If the map is medium-sized, Fortress is unbeatable. Fortress is power. Later on, of course, when opponents have more or less established themselves, it will be more difficult, but if you know all the nuances of playing as Fortress, then you will again have no equal!

I used to prefer the Stronghold, then recently the Castle, and now the Tower...

In my opinion, the Tower is too expensive of a Castle. It's undoubtedly cool, though. I agree about the Stronghold – it's a powerful, inexpensive Castle with many advantages.

I don't really have any specific preferences, except for the Stronghold, but starting with the Rampart can be quite interesting (building up the High Elves and then going on to crush everyone...).

That’s exactly the point – it’s only difficult at the beginning. On later stages, they start to overwhelm you.

I think the best castles are Rampart and Hive.

At first, I played as Dungeon (and for a long time, persistently. And I still don't understand why). Then I discovered Necropolis)) And I realized that nothing is better than it, except for Castle... I still recommend playing as Necropolis. Necropolis is powerful! Especially because of the Black Knights, and of course, the Vampire Lords!

As for the Conflux, I don't really like it. Of course, if you have the Grail, you're invincible! But until then, you're in last place.

and I play as Necromancers... I like it when they give you a huge number of liches instead of skeletons... you can collect a huge army.

It all comes down to personal preference; I prefer playing when each player has their own town on the map, and the key is who you're playing against. The best town for taking down Towers is Necropolis, but against undead, Astral is good, and against Astral, Castle/Rampart are equally strong. Personally, I don't like playing as humans; it's a weak faction.:cool:

choosing based on strength is pointless! IMHO! they are all good!

I agree with Arandor! For example: Tower is the most powerful castle, but I'm absolutely not interested in playing as it. If I start playing as Tower, I will definitely win against everyone, but without any interest. And another example: Swamp. Swamp is the complete opposite of Tower. Many might say it's weak. But I personally enjoy playing as it. And by the way, no Tower can defeat my Swamp!

:smile13: Inferno is cool, and so is Rampart! Inferno has cool units, and I started playing with this castle!

Inferno is, in my opinion, the worst castle. The units there are weak and uninteresting. At most, you can get something out of efreets, magogs, and devils. You can say the same about the castle itself, but Archangels, Crusaders, and Fanatics compensate for the level 5 Grand Master unit)) and generally make the castle worthwhile. I mainly play with the Stronghold – I love having a horde of wild barbarians in my army. Sorcery, of course, makes you wait for something better, but Kreg the Hack with an attack skill of 30 will take care of everything, even without magic. I don't like the Tower – it's really expensive, as they say. But the magic there is great... Necropolis – that's the one! Morale doesn't matter, combat spirit doesn't matter, it steals spell points, regenerates, lowers enemy morale, you can get skeletons for cheap, especially in the Demon Realms. And my favorite thing is the Raise Dead spell on one of the heroes, I forgot the name... In general, I can play with any castle, but I don't like Inferno.
