Posts from Discussion about Dungeon (Dark Elves).
I apologize for the delay, but I had a lot of work yesterday and didn't have time.
So, here's the promised description of the battle against the Orc.
Map - "Neighbors". Difficulty level - "Veteran".
I (after much deliberation) am playing as Letos - green, and the opponent is Tallak - yellow.
Autobattle is prohibited.
Starting bonuses:
I got an artifact (it was the Helmet of Chaos :D).
The opponent got an artifact (it was the Clover of Fortune).
Mine guarding:
I have a mine, and he has...
Dwarves - stone - goblins
Scouts - wood - dryads
Many archers - gold - a horde of upgraded gargoyles
Elven archers - sulfur - swordsmen
Dancers - mercury - furies
Crossbowmen - gems/diamonds - zombies
Alt upgrade for beasts - crystals - red crossbowmen
Golden golems - Dungeon - Orcish warriors
Alt ghosts + upgraded bears - passage to the center - Cerberuses + Sea Elf archers
Upgraded demons - passage to the artifact - harpooners
Starting troops:
7 scouts + 3 beasts + 1 minotaur / 11 orcs
Day 1
I built a magic tower, bought Sinistar (9+3), merged the army with Letos, and went to take what was poorly defended. ;)
Day 2
I built an upgrade building for the scouts, upgraded them to assassins, and bought a growth bonus. I cleared out the guards at the stone and wood mines (lost 3 assassins at the wood mine).
I used Sinistar to transport the assassins to the Castle and upgraded them to scouts.
Day 3
I took the Necropolis (guarded by vampires) and got the Cloak of Earth Protection :(. No losses.
I built beasts.
Day 4
I took the gold and sulfur mines - without losses, and replenished mana at the well.
I upgraded the beasts to furies and brought them to Letos.
Day 5
I transferred the furies (11), visited the mill, and took the diamond mine (without losses).
I built a gold mine.
Day 6
I took the gold mine with Sinistar.
I took the crystal mine, broke through to the artifact (Ring of 10% Initiative) :D.
I built hydras.
Day 7
I collected the treasure chests.
I built riders.
I defeated the ghosts.
I'll write more later (work)
So, the second part of the battle against the Orc.
Due to a lack of time, I will be a little more concise than in the previous post.
Week 2
Built:
Capitol
Castle
Upgraded Witches and Upgraded Hydras
Bought Waishan
In the summer, with an army of 2 Twilight Witches + 6 Regenerating Hydras + 30 Scouts, he went to the center.
Cleared 3 gold mines + took three artifacts (armor +2 to all stats and immunity to earth shock, dragon tooth crown (I don't remember the exact name), moon blade) and broke into the Twilight Dragon lair (all without losses).
Sinithar, with an army of 16 Furies + 23 Scouts, cleared almost the entire dungeon - lost 7 scouts, bought a ring - +2 to morale (it fit very well with the helmet of chaos:smile52:).
Leveled up Sinithar to level 8.
Chaos Expert - Fire Lord + Secrets of Chaos
Initial Unstoppable - Enhanced Spells
Advanced Sorcery - Reduced Spell Cost:p
I will write what happened next in the evening.

1) Day 3
I took the Necropolis (guarded by vampires), and received the Cloak of Earth Protection :( without any losses.
Can you please tell me how many and what (scouts/assassins) you had?
How did you manage to defeat them all without any losses? Were you never attacked?
2) Day 4
I took the gold and sulfur mines without losses, and replenished mana at the well.
I upgraded the beasts to furies and transported Leto.
This is really interesting! Can you provide more details? Who was guarding the sulfur and gold mines (especially the latter - gold mines are usually not guarded by weak creatures)? Were you never attacked?
And here's a question about the diamond and crystal mines? Also, I'm curious about the ghosts - did you never miss an attack????

actually, it's not a good idea to rush with riders and immediately take a beating! The strategy works like this: the battle takes place in the middle of the field, and both sides perform well there.
New hydras - in my opinion, they are useless (only maybe against demons and orcs), because regeneration gives time to destroy the enemy with spells. New furies are much better than the old ones for creeping.
By the way, yes! What about the academics? It's not easy to harass them and rush... and I won't even talk about development! What to do!?
Regarding the academics - you have to destroy them!!!!
Mages, djinns - deal a lot of damage, but they can't take a hit, so you have to destroy them first.
And then, depending on the circumstances.;)

Oh, sorry, I went to Haven - I just fell in love with them after the release of 3.0
I have a few questions on this topic:
1) On day 3,
I took the Necropolis (guarded by vampires) and received the Cloak of Earth Protection: without any losses.
Please tell me how many and what kind of (scouts/assassins) you had?
How did you manage to defeat them all without any losses? Were you never hit?
2) On day 4,
I took the Gold and Sulfur Mines – without losses, replenished mana at the well.
I upgraded the beasts to Furies and took Letos.
This is really interesting! Could you clarify who guarded the Gray and Gold Mines (I'm especially interested in the latter – gold mines are usually not guarded by weak creatures)? Were you never hit?
And here's a question about the Diamond and Crystal Mines? Also, I'm curious about the ghosts – did you ever miss them????

Sometimes, a very arrogant elf or human will throw their army into a breakthrough and not destroy the lizardmen;)
in this case, they work perfectly with everyone, but best of all with minotaurs.
Regarding the scholars – they need to be eliminated!
Mages, djinns – they deal a lot of damage, but they can't withstand attacks, so they need to be eliminated first.
And then, depending on the circumstances.;)

Hello everyone,
Sorry for the long delay, I was in the Czech Republic for professional development.
I'll answer point by point.
1. There were 21 stalkers.
I didn't just defeat them, I defeated them very easily.
First turn – defense, second turn – invisibility, and I attacked the vampires and specters with Elrond's arrows. Then, I killed the skeletons with stalkers and ran away from the zombies for 3 turns, hitting them with the hero's direct attack, then I waited and finished them off with stalkers in two hits.
I was never hit; there was only one counterattack from a zombie, but it wasn't enough to kill even one stalker.
2. The gold mine was guarded by archers, the sulfur mine – by elven archers.
See my post #558 above for more details.
Stalkers in two stacks and in invisibility – the elves are doomed.
Regarding ghosts – have you ever missed with Elrond's arrow?
You see, the main trick with stalkers is that, along with furies and magic, you can defeat any neutral creatures of levels 1-3 in the FIRST WEEK, guaranteed without losses (except for stone and obsidian gargoyles), and if you have Vayshan, then even level 4 – except for (griffins and lizard riders), and this, gentlemen, is OP

And how is the game against the Orcs in general? Who won? I've already played against them many times and have developed some tactics. And when you have Earth Shock dealing 2000 damage, and to top it off, Chain Lightning, then nothing will save the Orcs. As they say, there's no defense against brute force.

God save us everyone
Will we burn inside the fires of a thousand suns...
But in general, this escalating argument is pointless; it's like arguing whether an apple is better than an orange. So, let's move on. The Titan isn't better than the Orc, but the Orc isn't better than the Titan either. ;)

I'm playing as Vayshan, but I don't risk attacking strong neutral creatures with this army... By the way, sometimes it happens that Archers or Archmages go before Stalkers because the game is designed in such a way that units are placed in a random range of 0-0.25. And then you can really mess up... Especially against the new Elven Archers who have 11 intelligence...

1. Don't put all the Stalkers in one stack, and then the losses will be possible, but not critical.
Recently, with Sinithar and 39 Stalkers (I started with Vayshan), on the 4th day, I defeated 36 Druids, losing 14:smile12:
2. I completely crushed the Orcs in the second week.
I learned Slow and Berserk from the upgraded Witch Hut.
I returned to the Castle, learned the 3rd level spell (Ring of Cold), and upgraded the Stalkers to Assassins.
The battle took place on the 7th day of the second week.
1st turn: Poisoning Letos (it hit the Centaurs and the 3rd level unit) plus, Fury on the Paoka, Assassins poisoned the 5th level unit, Lizards charged the same Paoka (he moved forward with them), with luck, Fury on the same Paoka, and Lizard Bite (the Paoka died), and general Slow from Letos.
During the second turn, I cast Berserk on the Air Elementals. Basically, after that, it was just finishing off the opponent. Who fled and immediately admitted defeat
