Posts from Beginner’s guide to playing with the second hero.
Good day! I am pleased to announce the launch of a unique project in the Russian-speaking internet community – a School of Basic Skills for Heroes of Might and Magic II. It is great to note that the Rector and two Deans of the School are present on our forum. Welcome to the School!
Dean Dust_HL will provide more details about the School.
The School was conceived and founded by Rector Catch, with the following goals: To raise the average skill level in the second Heroes game, to increase interest in the second Heroes game among Russian-speaking users, to popularize and generally unite the Heroes community (second Heroes game) on a single platform!
However, the Rector himself can reveal more and add whatever he deems necessary!
It contains a lot of useful material about the Heroes 2 game, both in the online and offline categories! I advise everyone to take a look. The lessons are taught by the best players in the Russian-speaking community.
To gain access to the School, you must leave your application in this thread, indicating the nickname with which you registered at the School - http://offtop.ru/heroes2school/index.php, after which one of the Deans or the Rector himself will grant access.
Right now, with the combined efforts of two Deans, lectures are being given on "Mastering and preparing saves for arena tournaments"! In my opinion, this topic is relevant for many of those present here!
Sign up! Contact the new Dean of the School Qwerty, me, or Catch for clarification!
However, the headmaster can reveal the details himself and add whatever he deems necessary!
Indeed, this project was conceived and launched almost a year ago. The idea came to me after I looked at the save files of all the players in one tournament on HeroesPortal. What I saw horrified me. The goal of the tournament was to maximize the development of a hero at the start within one month. Almost all players limited themselves to collecting chests around the starting castle. They wandered around it for a month, not even thinking about going further! I realized that very few players really know what this wonderful game is all about, and I decided to organize a small educational program. After the school opened, real grandmasters of the game contacted me and became teachers at the school. After Dust_HL took over as dean, the project ceased to be limited to visitors from one gaming resource; players from HeroesLeague also joined. And recently, it was decided to appoint Qwerty as dean, so now the School of Mastery for Second Heroes unites players from three Heroes communities. During the school's existence, many students have achieved impressive progress. For example, Brennan, rilovu. Before attending the school, they were, let's say, average players, but now they play on par with the grandmasters. I hope that their example will inspire many, and the beloved game will gain new Heroes :) I invite everyone to study. Our teachers are ready to share their knowledge and skills with absolutely everyone. I think the secrets of their mastery will be interesting to everyone :)
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth...
Please accept me as well. I'm sure there's something to learn in our school.
What nickname did you use when registering in the school? I've granted access to the only person who registered on December 24th, but I don't know if it's you or not.
