I have a simple story too. My name is Denis. I just remembered the movie about the Terminator, and suddenly the name Denminator came to mind.

Well, for me, it's very simple. I just really love cats and dragons.
I combined the names of these creatures, and this hybrid came out: D
And I also knew that I would put a cute face of a Siamese cat and a cute little dragon as my avatar:smile36: :D

More than a year ago, I had lunch in our cafeteria, and my name was added to the list of debtors. However, due to the creditors' inattention, my name was entered in a slightly modified form. Instead of the traditional "Pivovar," my last name became "Vivor," and my witty friends quickly came up with derivatives of this new word – "Vivorization," "Vivorandum," "Vivorishche," "François de Vivor," and so on. In the end, this summer, I defended my thesis project, which was presented as software designed for inventorying fixed assets, and I named the program "VIVOR," which stood for "Comprehensive Identification of Internal Organizational Distributions."

My nickname was passed down to me "by inheritance." My dad is a programmer, and his nickname is DAN (first name-patronymic-last name). I once wrote NID (last name-first name-patronymic) in Counter-Strike, and it stuck. Sometimes I call myself Igor@, but that's rare.

Anyone who played Hitman 1 will understand why I have this nickname... And I chose it because I couldn't think of anything else.

Initially, I was just ZeT. Then I started playing Generals, and I called myself General ZeT. A few years passed, and the idea came to my mind, and for a year I was called Lord Ze-Rax. Then came the changes: Ze-Xzar, Aze-Rax, but everything always returns to the beginning. Friends say, why do you need a nickname when you have a name that can be a nickname. My name is Zamir, but if I write it, it's only like this: Zамир.

R. Sheckley has a series of cool stories about decontaminators. It's a profession – making planets habitable. Actually, "contaminatio" means pollution. So, my nickname is like a janitor, a cleaner, but on a global scale.

4 years ago, I decided to get internet access. A guy came over, ran the cable, set everything up, launched the chat, and said, "Come up with a nickname."
I know a thing or two about hardware, so I decided to name myself something computer-related and called myself Gluk. Turns out, that name was already taken online, so I quickly changed it to GlukpoFaze.
And a few weeks ago, we had a lesson on oscillations in school.

I still have a rather simple approach... The first time I went to the club, the name "Dragon" was written on the table, and I needed to come up with a nickname for the game, so I've been using this nickname for about 6 years now... And it's also my TAG. 8)

Regul, just a dash instead of a letter. Fans of Warhammer 40k will understand. Also, there's an awesome nickname that I typed into Yandex, and it only showed me (besides some emails).
Womif is my last name spelled backward, and again, without the letter "e".

Actually, my nickname is meleagre. I wanted to come up with a unique, memorable, and well-sounding nickname. And at that time, I was writing an essay on literature about "ancient literature." I decided to take a name from Greek mythology. I opened a book, flipped through it, and came across a short story (only a couple of pages) about this Meleager. (by the way, this login is not repeated on Yandex and Rambler, but unfortunately, it is on Google). When I registered on the website, I suddenly had a change of heart. Not long ago, I read the book "Major Whirlwind" (author Julian Semenov), which describes the secret operation of this Major Whirlwind (a Russian saboteur) in the German rear. It's a very interesting book, and most importantly, it's not long and should appeal to anyone who is interested in World War II! I recommend reading it!

Actually, I'm SuSsaHin (because a friend in school called me "Suslik" – which means "ground squirrel" – and then said I wasn't a "Suslik" but a "Susanin"). When I registered on Yandex, my brother was too lazy to create his own email address, so we decided to share one. And here, I just entered it out of habit, but I can't change it now.

For me, it's simple. When I registered here, I decided to come up with a nickname that would be related to my favorite race – the Dark Elves. Nothing came to mind, and without much thought, I took the name of one of the heroes, i.e., Eh, it's a pity that the nickname that came to me when I registered on the anniversary forum didn't occur to me back then... There, I'm UbеrWarlock... (no one else had that! :-) )

I don't even remember how I came up with my nickname. I remember that I needed to register on ICQ, and I was thinking about what nickname to choose. I spent the whole night coming up with ideas! And I came up with a lot... And recently I discovered that the English word for "phoenix" is not "Fenix", but "Phoenix", but nevertheless, changing the order of the addends does not change the sum.

okay, I ended up right behind my namesake=) but back to the topic... initially, my nickname was Fen1x, but then I thought about it and decided to make the nickname international... - Phoen1x, but then it turned out that there were a lot of them, and I decided to replace O with zero and add the letter L at the end... and if you take only the first and last letter of my nickname, you get my initials=) and now my nickname is correctly spelled - Ph0en1xL

and in general, I chose the phoenix because I was playing CS 1.6 at the time and wanted a nickname that would symbolize eternal life...
