—Good thing we didn't go into the town... Maybe we can still resurrect him... Technically, he left at the same time as you...
- It's all so stupid, - Hataright slapped his forehead with his palm, - and how did we not realize that this would happen?
- Well, I guess... He didn't heal himself at all during the battle, so we should have expected this. Sorry, Dorian, it's my fault - it was my idea to retreat. And it's really good that we didn't go into the town, I wouldn't be able to look you both in the eye again.

Choose non-human factions. You can continue to farm knowledge in peace, no one will bother you. But the guys from Caen will definitely put a stop to that.

—Don't worry about it, the bleeding was my fault. I didn't know it would also reflect on him, otherwise things would have been much easier. —He glances at the apparently un-resurrectable body with a grim look. —What should we do?

And there he discovers a whole crowd of familiar faces - Jingo, Katarina, Osha, and Rurek.
- Are you also here for food for the furry ones? - Barley asked. - We'll probably need some kind of cart or a lot of people.
Then the cook approaches Swark and tells her that there are hungry furies and they need food.

Be strong. Believe

- This is better than jumping into the unknown and hoping for the best, - replied Katarina, - I don't want to take risks.
- Well, we won't "jump" anywhere, and certainly won't "hope for the best." Grandpa and Dad always said that in any situation, there should be a "Plan B."
- Let's eat first, and then get down to business. That is, explore the caves. It would be good to take these two "respected Jhelts" as "bodyguards." But I'm afraid their arrogance and misanthropy won't allow it...

- There's nothing we can do here, let's go back to base empty-handed. We failed the mission, but it's already clear that the two of you will now be with us.

Having finished his Happy Meal, Osh headed towards the Wizard Dungeon. For now, he wasn't going to start trying to sway them to Izkazhan's side; first, he needed to talk to Rizz. Right now, he was interested in something else. Dale wanted to acquire combat spells. Healing is good, of course, but constantly carrying two huge sorcerers around is somewhat inconvenient. After the Wizards, he heads to the Collectors, with the same goal – to find combat spells.

I'm not sure if it's even possible to do this in the game and find anything, but let's assume it is.

- We sometimes work on creating new spells, so you've come to the right place. - Explained Osh, one of the members of the Wizard Community. - But for better efficiency, this is traditionally done in groups. - He says that for this, five spellcasters with free activity and a skill slot are needed. - Unfortunately, I don't meet these criteria at the moment...

Watching Osh silently walk away, Katarina shook her head.
- It seems that we have fewer candidates for bodyguards.

Ah, well, I know that. The conditions are too hard to fulfill just like that 😭

- Hmm... Interesting what you've come up with here. And what happens if someone tries to come up with one alone? 🤔

Catch up with him at the wizards, he'll go if the spells don't work out.

- Hmm... That's an interesting idea. But what if you try to come up with something on your own? 🤔
- I don't know. Most likely, it won't work, or it will work, but it will be some nonsense.

"No, buddy, they won't eat regular food anymore. They'll put it on your head like a fake..." - the schizoid thought, hearing the word "brain masher."

- See? These ones have already "chosen a side"... So we'll just be the two of us... - the schiz continues to whisper to his companion.
- And that's fine. We can explore the Dungeons together. But we won't go the old way anymore. Everything is clear there, everything is understood...

- Hmm. I'll try. If anything happens, just throw what's left of me into the lava river, and give the surviving items to the sorcerer named Rurek.

Even he found someone to team up with. And you just keep sitting and playing your expansions.

- Just tell me how much to cook, and I'll do it in no time! As long as I have a say in it, no one will go hungry!

- Are you doing this on purpose? I've already said several times that I won't go anywhere without an escort.

- Well, am I not an escort? Okay, okay... What kind of "escort" do you need? Two orcs? Five elves? Or ten humans? At least give me a rough idea... So I know how many to look for...

- Uh, okay.
Moving a sufficient distance away from living objects, Osh decided to first try to create something similar to what he was at least familiar with from the description. He takes out his diary and reads the description of the Orb of Onyx.
- Maybe not as powerful. Something closer to a simple fireball. Ugh... let's begin...

Spends activity.
