At the moment when the morning light in her cubbyhole reaches fifteen percent with zero hundredths, the Lady's eyes rise from the instrument, and her hands mechanically reach for cosmetics. Perhaps someday industrialists will invent makeup that holds until you take it off, but their current level leaves much to be desired — the entropy of matter won't let makeup linger longer than a day even on the most impassive face. Or maybe it was just the wrong climate.
Upon completing the ritual, she leaves the "dwelling" and, noting that nothing particularly impactful seems to be planned for this day, slowly moves somewhere toward the stronghold in search of the benefactor, who had some voluntary errands prepared.
