The key word here is - ME;) And in general, enough with the pointless statements - "my race is better!" (this is, so to speak, a request to everyone). Every race is good; one has slightly more fans, another has slightly fewer. It's just that each PLAYER has THEIR OWN race that suits them, and that's all;) It all depends on personal preferences, the overall game strategy, or simply a liking for the appearance, in the end...
And in general, I suggest not arguing, but BEAUTIFULLY and FULLY describe the CHARACTERISTICS of each race - what personally attracts you, what you like, what could be changed... Well, shall we try?

Barbarians are appealing due to their low cost and rapid development!

Initially, I played as Elves, then I tried all the factions and came to the conclusion that you can basically play with any of them, but my personal preference is as follows: 1. Rampart, Conflux, Stronghold. 2. Castle, Dungeon. 3. Fortress (swamp), Tower. 4. Inferno. 5. Necropolis. In general, I prefer quality over quantity.

I also enjoy playing as Barbarians.

If we're talking about top 5, then I mostly enjoy playing as: 1. Sylvan; 2. Inferno, Academy; 3. Haven, Dungeon; 4. Necropolis. P.S. Xaker, and other Necromancers, don't be offended. I just don't like the underworld. And it seems there are plenty of volunteers playing as Necropolis even without me. ;)

And I only play as Necropolis! Only in Heroes of Might and Magic III do I also play as Barbarians.

Barbarians and the Rampart in Heroes 3 are good because:
1. They move quickly (especially the Des and Knight units).
2. They build quickly and are quite cheap.
3. They have decent units in good numbers!
