Premium Asugukh diary of Erika ("Blue"). Entry 7.
02.03.1001
Arrived in Sugar. The situation was calm, but for some reason there were a ton of horses and various other riding animals around...
Went to Calcitic Joys. Bought some (probably) useful gear. The towel is especially interesting. No restrictions on the theme "will never fall off without permission" were stated, so I hope it "never falls off" from anywhere...
Stopped by the administration office, where I met Ushumgallu. He was spouting some utter nonsense, from which I gathered that they raided Shina, smashed the Citadel of Merriment to splinters, and met Ginza, who ran away from them. But they did pick up a crazy Lamprus from Baldr's school. I didn't manage to question him properly, because Kira's student bolted before I could understand anything. Oh, and he also offered me to join them. I just didn't get what role I'd play... That dude clearly overdid it with drinks, celebrating his "successful trip to Shina" and his appointment...
Anyway, going under the command of one unbalanced Calcitic (judging by his stunt at the tavern before the tournament) into the company of another mentally ill Calcitic (judging by his behavior back then before the tournament) in some unclear roles (judging by the last phrase I heard) — I really didn't feel like it, so I headed to the capital.
03.03.1001Upon waking up, my first priority was to run an experiment with the towel. Alas, the experiment failed: the towel dried itself, but it doesn't protect other things from water. I need to find a waterproof case somewhere.
I asked about this at the administration office, but the
Palmar there said he'd never heard of such things... Strange — we do have a fleet in Asugukh, yet they know nothing about such a necessary item...
At the transport station I learned that traffic to Onkaih seems to be restored, but only once a day in the morning.
Went to Ninamiat. Stopped by Cold Steel, bought an Asugukhi helmet, and grabbed a serving of Bento.
Finally, I'm at the Temple! Brother Brazher was alone and glum. Turns out everyone went down to the bottom, and he wasn't taken along. Said he still had work left on land... He was upset.
I asked if I could learn a thing or two, but he said it "comes on its own." When and how — unknown...
Decided to check out Phantom's Shadow anyway. The shop is closed, and there's no phantom there either...
Went to the Quill and Ink Guild. Asked
Xerxes Diorama about a waterproof case. Maybe at least they have something like that, since they work with piles of paper...
He offered a bag for 500 rems. And where am I supposed to get those? Asked the administration — they wouldn't give any... Screw them all!
04.03.1001Arrived in Sizki. Went to the library and read about the Illusory City and the House of Oaths. In the latter, some oath rituals are performed, and in the former, some shady dealings go on... Asked about the map of Anuzish — they said they have it, but it's "a tepee"... The
librarian lady, by the way, is new there...
Visited the Adventurers' Guild to ask about "Groza". Gonkhu said nobody came back. So let's note it as "Groza — the place you don't return from"... And Gonkhu himself is an unpleasant type.
Asmidula wasn't home. I wonder if he found out anything about the places I need?
05.03.1001.At the administration office, instead of the Protector, I found Gimal and some other
Palmar. They wouldn't give money for the bag. First, they say, sign up as a volunteer, and then "maybe" they'll give "something"... Yeah right...
Went to the palace with one question. Met a
strange guardswoman from Heles there. She sent me to the administration office. Fine...
Back to the library. This time I read about the locations of some obelisks and the embassy of Noir. Some sub-Anuzishi folks live in Noir. Also a guidebook to Margel from 20 years ago by a certain
Aiyano Yamagami... If everything written there is true, then this Margel is huge — our entire Asugukh would fit inside it!!! Though, given where Velfern is now, it's not certain that everything described there still exists... I wonder why the empire "died"?
So, in Margel there are, or rather were, the following places:
"Zarya" - a printing house. Analogous to our Muzzard.
Port - if there's a port, then the sea is nearby. And where there's sea, there's glorious Zhyusyiksidzire!!!
Airport - uh... I haven't seen anything like that here...
Railway station - wow! Here, trains with horses and autostagecoaches run from one place. Well, used to run... And there they have a whole station for them!
Main gate - apparently Margel is enclosed by a wall, just like Asugukh.
City hospital - can't do without that...
"Hearth" complex - a place where you can rent housing. Yeeah... this isn't Asugukh with free housing at the administration...
Parade district - probably some parades take place there...
Bureau of Magic - turns out mages there are kept on some special "registry"...
Police station - judging by everything, a permanent residence for individuals like Ushumgallu and Zibaba...
"Mystery" - a restaurant.
Emerald Alley - a street with lots of different little shops.
"Krasota" - a café. Seems intended for "couples" or "almost-couples", but that's not certain...
"Diablo" - judging by everything, also some kind of restaurant.
"Pam-param" - seems to be another restaurant in the
Business Center.
"The Young Drowned Maiden" - just a restaurant in the
Harbor District. Eh... And here I thought someone had already fallen into the embrace of Zhyusyiksidzire...
Adventurers' Guild - they've got one too!
Workers' Guild - seems analogous to our artisans' guild.
Hunters' Guild - deals with... hunting. But not beasts, rather some monsters.
Commonwealth of Empire Toilers - uh... some kind of "labor exchange"
"Ideal" - a modeling agency in the Suburban District. Kamistella would probably like it...
Art Academy and
Magic Academy - the names speak for themselves...
"Upgrade" - a workshop.
"Chronos" - a store and repair shop at the same time.
"Iron" - a gym.
"Community of Empire Veterans" - some kind of "aid and support bureau"...
Fishermen's Guild and
Philosophers' Guild - uh... we don't have those...
"Hellfire" - no, it's not one of my twenty "friends," but merely a forge. Isn't that where Mr. Crag made his armor?
Azure Palace - like ours, but not royal, imperial.
"Phantasmagoria" - a theater, and a free one at that...
Imperial Archive - the Temple of Knowledge of Velfern!
Church of Arcelia - like in Shina, but in Margel.
"Museum of Imperial Conquests" - I wonder, does it even still exist?
"Souvenirs" - judging by everything, a store... of souvenirs.
"Linefront Guillotine", "Antitegum", "Ice Mountain" - didn't quite understand what these are, but they won't let anyone in...
"Grace" - some kind of "branch" of the Archive...
"Rumor" - a place where they engage in some chatter...
"Discordia" - a "Hall of Martial Valor" for mages. Not free...
"Melody" - a musical instruments store.
"Rabbit Hole" - some kind of "boutique"...
"Ornament" - a sewing goods store.
"Leaf" - a pharmacy.
"Abundance" - a hypermarket.
"Tentacle" - an imported goods store.
Café "XXX" - didn't immediately realize what it was. But reading more carefully, I understood it's our temple of Nanaya with restaurant services. Or a restaurant with temple-of-Nanaya services. Judging by everything, quite popular. Hmm...
"Golden Hole" - a sports complex for playing golf.
"Playful Rabbit" - a place for gambling enthusiasts.

By the way, our dear tsar-father also had a

At the market I met a
creep selling the bag I need. This creep is even creepier than Gonkhu... Another
some guy offered a couple of items. Expensive...
Went to the administration office. Passed Gimal the information about the pirate kidnapping the witch in Calcite.
06.03.1001Arrived in Shingen. At the Guild I met Belladonia Abazhur. He gave me 4 tubes for scrolls to protect against water. Well, at least that...
Erika also strained her memory and added the heads of the remaining guilds:
Rinetta Gurianos,
Segira Tails,
Leruzain Trabnaezh,
Kurt Gurianos,
