New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?
And silence. What a pity.
Hello, this is a great mod, author, you put a lot of effort into it, but in some places, it seems like your sense of style changed. Therefore, I had to selectively choose creatures and icons, combine them with other options from other authors; it was very interesting – the result is in the screenshots. I didn't like the green orcs, but I'll note the cool version of the dark wyvern; it looks more suitable for orcs than this acid green one.
The Empire – definitely cool, finally, it's clear why the faction's color is blue and also red. I managed to combine the beta inquisitor with a new outfit; it turned out great. I left the swordsman, paladin, griffin, and monk from the original.
Dwarfs – I liked many of the color schemes, especially for the berserker and the bear lord. The priests are out; the face model is creepy and also looks very extravagant for the rider on the white bear.
Academy – I really liked your gremlins, gargoyles, and golems. I didn't use the mages; they look worse. I took the thunderer in gold from another mod; now, everything looks very good together.
Inferno – it seems simple, but it definitely looks more pleasant and clearer, especially the imps. This is the only faction that can be easily used in its entirety.
Undead – in the process of editing, I like the eyes of the liches, but I prefer the vampires in the original; I'm just changing the higher vampire's colors to red shades with a green sword, and I'm not touching the nosferatu.
You tried very hard, but in some places, it seems like your sense of style changed.
There's no accounting for taste! Golden Titans aren't a universally accepted standard either
Here are a few more screenshots. The gray Banshee is taken from Crimson Necropolis, reworked with gray-pinkish fabric, and the Messengers are from this mod, but I made them less colorful. The elves' dragons are now gold and emerald — I've wanted to do that for a long time (emerald is also a crystal). I just need to darken the demons a bit, since the author made them too monotonously red instead of the original burgundy.
💯 The mod is very well structured, huge respect, everything is organized into folders, easy to customize for yourself, and creature icons don't need to be redone for different resolutions. I converted it from pak to h5u and put it into UserMODs, removed the hero changes. In the end, we have two useful folders — Game Mechanics for choosing which creature appearances to replace and new creatures for storing and modifying the textures themselves.
