Title: Five Plots - Avarus
Game Version: Winds of War (stability in Equilibris is not guaranteed, but it is playable on 3.55. 3.6 may cause issues)
Number of Scenarios: 5
Campaign Difficulty: Above average, 6/10 (between the original and DLCs in HoMM4)
Campaign Author: Gong Zigoton
Forbidden Skills: Melee, Ranged, Magic Resistance, Sailing, Stealth
Description:
Avarus (also mistakenly called Avarius) is the son of Patriarch Cryostat of Gleenoria, the first who was able to unite one people into a single country based on a common faith in the Sun God Fyorr.
Having achieved the position of a simple priest, Avarus realizes that this is not enough and if he truly wants to support the stray souls of his own flock, he must strive now for the heights, for the title of his father, who took the mantle of a hermit after the Reckoning.
So many questions and no answers. Even the Sun God Fyorr seemed to have fallen silent forever after Cryostat's departure. They say that the Patriarch of Gleenoria is even capable of conversing with the God of the World himself, the Sun God.
And only a bitter memory of long-eared bandits from another world, who killed his mother, still poisons the life of Avarus of Gleenoria…

Annotation (in both languages):
It is hardest for me to sit down to this saga. For I am Froud Bethiulf, son Al of the great traveler Scarlass Bethiulf. At the end, Rigar, of my own youth, I begin work on the story of Fra’Leader, restorer of native Gleenoria, which now suffers under the yoke of time itself, Tia.
The second chapter and volume on the history of the Continent's first five years will eventually contain translations of the meaning of the Syllables of my people, if I have enough time and strength to complete this work.
Let us begin the immersion into the second of the Five Plots!
---
Someone mistakenly called him Avarius (as if as a reference), but the name of the Holy Leader is Avarus, son of Cryostat, the First Patriarch of unified Gleenoria, united after many millennia in some old form at least. For now he is only a local priest, but you will help him achieve his goals, won't you?
What awaits you, dear players?
- Help Avarus on his path following in the footsteps of his father.
- Meet familiar characters from the “History of the World” campaign and new iconic personalities.
- Strange foreigners from other worlds, summoned by the power of music and ready to fight back (Kick Back, ahem); Random text events and relatively dynamically changing victory/defeat conditions. A metaplot not entirely connected to the main story of the campaign.
- 5 diverse scenarios with unique victory conditions (for the most part. Among the planned 26) and special additional activities. All are tested and playable on Champion. Equilibris 3.55 is also playable.
- Many amazing activities. You will not find such variety in the future. It is too costly in terms of effort.
- Campaign difficulty affects not only the size of neutral armies, but also their quality (mainly in the final scenario).
- Read all 201 pages of text (Word, 12pt font. Calibri, of course), if you dare.
- I am still a “professional” writer, with eight years of experience in graphomania.
- Don't forget the save file upon completing the campaign. When all Five Plots merge into one, you will need it. Just in case.
- Gorho the melomaniac asked to mention the existence of an additional location. In this world, his lips are sealed.
English:
This saga was the hardest of my works. After all, I’m Froud Bethiulf, son, Al of great traveller Scarlass Bethiulf. On the end, Rigar, of my youth, I will begin this tale of our Fra’Leader, restorer of my native Gleenoria, which is currently suffering under the yoke of time itself, Tia.
The second chapter and tome about history of the Continent’s first five years will contain translations of the meaning of the Syllables of my folk in conclusion. If I have enough time and power to finish that work.
Let's delve into history in the second of the Five Plots!

What awaits thee, dear player? (Yes, I’ll keep those occasional references in translation and only in it.)
- Help Avarus follow in the footsteps of his father.
- Meet familiar characters from the “History of the World” campaign and new iconic persons.
- Weird strangers from other worlds, summoned by the power of music, ready to KICK BACK; random text events and relatively dynamic win/lose conditions. Metaplot, not directly connected with the main story of this campaign.
- 5 various scenarios with unique victory conditions (for the most part. Among the planned 26) and special additional activities. All are tested and clearable on the Champion difficulty. On Equilibris 3.55 too.
- Campaign difficulty affects not only the size of neutral armies but also their quality (mainly in the final scenario).
- Read all 201 pages of the text (Word, 12th size of type. Font, of course, Calibri), if you dare. (THERE IS NO TRANSLATION, if anyone will be so reckless to propose that help… I wouldn’t mind
)
- I am still a “professional” writer with 8 years of graphomania experience.
- Don’t forget to keep the save with the completion of the campaign. When all Five Plots merge into one, you’ll need it.
- Gorho the Melomaniac asked to tell about the presence of an extra location. In this world, his lips are closed.
I often associate characters and scenes with music. This one suits Avarus. Such is his finale.
