I bought the Russian licensed version, but Nival's translation of the "originally English" HoMM universe doesn't suit me at all. I've already paid 360 rubles for the DVD – I wouldn't want to spend more money on buying the English version. Maybe someone knows if there's a way to make this version English (completely, including voice acting, if possible)?

It's easier to just buy the English version...
because all the dialogues and the English localization will take up at least 300 MB, and it will take a long time to download... it's expensive. And in general, I don't think Nival has ever done something like this... so if you want an English version of Grove, buy the disc.

Hmm... Well, then, at least the texts. Scripted scenes aren't as important, and as far as I can see, the voice acting is only in Russian there. I don't understand the game's software architecture very well, but if the files 'texts.pak' and 'p0-texts.pak' are the ones that contain all the text in the game, then perhaps replacing them with English versions is what I need. Each of them is about 4.5 MB. Maybe someone can share the English versions?

You should ask this on the English forum... there's probably no one here who can help.

I asked there too, but haven't received a response yet.
Hmm... Although, with each patch, it's quite possible that the text file will also be changed (it's changed in 1.1)... I don't want to download a new file every time, considering how much time I've already wasted on this without any results...
I probably won't bother with this anymore; it's not that big of a problem.
