I have a problem: due to some Trojan (as I suspect), my computer refuses to establish any connection with the printer – I can't print or do anything at all... When I try to reinstall the printer (I have the bootable disk, everything is there), I get the message: "print subsystem is unavailable" Please help, if anyone knows anything about this... I don't even have anyone to consult with, and I need to solve the problem urgently... I'm helpless without a printer :(:(:(

Yes, a friend of mine had a similar issue. We scanned his computer for viruses, treated what we could, and deleted the rest. After that, everything started working again.

The Trojan has a completely different function; it's a different virus (I don't know its name). Install a powerful antivirus program (AVP or NOD 32) with the latest updates and run a thorough scan of your computer.

And a 100% guaranteed cure is this format ))) I just think it's better to save it for a last resort. But for now, yes, antivirus software will help you.

What antivirus software are you using?

I have Avast! Plus, yesterday I also downloaded and ran a one-time Dr.Web scan... but there are no viruses, no matter how hard I look!

Avast is good, especially when you install mods on it; it will protect you like a rock. Web is a terrible antivirus (sorry for the expression); never use it (I used it to scan my computer and found only 5 viruses, while AVP found 1000 – believe it or not). Download NOD32 and update it instead!

I use NOD32, and it's a pretty good antivirus. I don't know anything about Avast, and I've never heard anything good about Web. I would install a reliable antivirus and run a few more scans; it's likely that it will find something else.
